History Maker International Conference in Singapore 2009

What's up, people? I've been busy for the past 2 weeks due to Fathering Pastors' Conference and History Maker International Conference in Singapore. Helped Pragas with FPC in the area of transportation this year as it is organized by our church and there were 160+ pastors from internal areas of Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei, and Indonesia. It's such a blessing to see the smile on their face and I had a great time being the "Transporter" for them. And I can finally say that I've been to P.Ramlee's house before after staying for 19 years in Penang. We went there during a tour around the island for all the pastors. I bet many people haven't been there before and it's kinda nice actually. ;)

I just came back from Singapore this morning and I stayed 6 days at Joshua's place. Went down 3 days earlier just to relax and to do some shopping. ;)
Attended ACTS Singapore on Sunday afternoon as well and met up with the team from KL.
I didn't really walked around when I was in Singapore the last time during the floorball tour back in 2007. This time, Pragas and I went around Singapore and it was fun! We had a good time walking around and taking MRT every day. Trying to fit into the Singaporeans lifestyle.Haha. Managed to catch up with my brother as well, Bernice! =)

HMI Conference was a blast too with 17 nations coming together this year and God is truly moving in every nation. Among some of the nations are Singapore, Japan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Nepal, USA, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, China, Hong Kong, South Africa, Pakistan, Mongolia & Malaysia. This year's theme is "Postured For Revival". I'm so encouraged and blessed by all the sharing of the pastors from different parts of the world. Thank God for his blessing and provision as well for this trip! Took the step of faith for signing up for this conference and I had so many financial issues before I went for this conference but God is awesome! =)
This year, there was a special guest speaker from Southern California, Rev.Roberts Liardon. He's a very well-known preacher and an author who has sold 6,000,000 of his books worldwide. I'm inspired to see him being so humble in spite of his success and so real & practical in what he believe in.
There were many more speakers and partners from different parts of the world and I was so blessed by all their sharing. All the powerful testimonies by them reminds me of how great is our God and He is indeed worthy to be praised! It's great to see all the nations having the same vision and many more doors are opening for HMI. Praise God for Pr.Richard Williams for leading this vision with all the partners from the 17 nations.

I came back with a heavier burden for Malaysia and I want to see this nation change! I believe something is already taking place in the schools through the Revo movement and may that lead to a greater change in this nation. There must be a reformation after the revolution.

I would say that I've had 2 fruitful weeks and I'm resting for a week before I head on to KL to check on some universities which offers my course. Still haven't decide whether I'll be in Penang or KL but I believe God knows what's best for me and He will show me where to go. =)

It's time for me to break the silence. Haven't been updating for almost a month. Ever since I've been back from China, I've been loaded with lots of works in the world and ministry as well. Yep, it takes up a lot of effort and time but I'm very happy with the results and outcome. Recess Revo has been spreading and we shared it again in Ipoh just 3 weeks ago. Currently, there are 7 schools which are running RR over there. There has been 31 salvations since we first started it in Penang about 15 weeks ago and we really thank God for each and everyone of them.

I'm currently not working and taking time to pray and decide about my future. Yep, was planning to study in SEGI Penang but I found courses which are the one that I really wanted over in KL. Will take the next 2 months to pray and decide about it. =)
I'll also be in Singapore during the first week of November for HMI Conference. Excited about it and I hope I get to meet some of my friends from Indonesia, Japan and Korea which I met them during my last HMI trip to Palembang. It's gonna be great and I'm getting ready for it.

I've been busy with work and so many things to do for the past week. As promised, I'm supposed to share about my trip to China but I'll just keep it short and simple. I would say it was a very fruitful trip. We saw 12 salvation from the camp and Sunday service as Pragas and I ministered to them. I have a new family in China and we were so blessed by their hospitality. Literally, we had 7 meals a day. Haha.
We also managed to share Recess Revo to the campers and we translated the slide show to Mandarin. They have invited us back to organize another camp for them next year and I hope that my college timetable wouldn't clash with it. Would love to have an autumn camp as I've experienced a summer camp this time. =)

The trip to Ipoh was also fruitful as we managed to share Recess Revo to 200 pastors, teachers and parents from different parts of Malaysia. Right now, a teacher from Perlis is also interested in this movement and we praise God for that. Going down to Ipoh again in the beginning of October to share to 10 schools that are gathering together to know more about Recess Revo. This movement is really MOVING in this nation and I believe something great is about to take place.
Went in to SEGI Penang yesterday to share about Campus Revo and I'm excited about it because I'll be starting my course there next year.

I'm finally leaving to China in 4 more days. I'm super excited about it and I believe I'm gonna have a great time over there. Looking forward for the camp that I will be organizing together with Pragas. We planned the camp over here in Penang and we take our plan over there to run the camp in China. Haha. We are also sharing Recess Revo and I pray that they will catch hold of the vision as well. I want to see a revolution taking place in China! ;)
Do keep me in prayer as we will be going through a medical check-up once we arrived in Shenzhen and those who have the symptoms of H1N1 will be quarantined straight away. If that happens, that's gonna blow up all our plans so I really appreciate all your prayers! =)

I'll be away for a week and once I'm back, I'll be travelling down to Ipoh again on the weekend to share about Recess Revo in an event organized by NECF together with few more Christian organizations. We really thank God for this open door and we believe it's gonna be a fruitful one. I feel like I'm a working man with all the travellings and works. Haha. Well, it's true because I'm working for God. =)
Wildfire Party is also taking place this Saturday and it's gonna be a blast! POD will be performing and I'm doing it without an acoustic guitar this time. We have a new guitarist, Daniel Boey so he can cover up my part for me. There's gonna be a new song too and I hope everything will go well! Haha.

Are You A Flo Rida (Flow Rider)?

Flo Rida. I'm sure everyone have heard about this American rapper who is famous for his song, "Low". "Apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur". Sounds familiar? =)
Well, I'm not gonna have a post about him but what I'm gonna share sounds alike his name so I thought of using his name. My question is, "Are you a Flo Rida (flow rider)?"

Here's my point. We all live in a world with so many pressure and sometimes we intend to be somebody or do something just to be able to be 'cool' and not left out of the latest things. Some of us wants to be like Paris Hilton, Zac Efron, etc. We all want to be famous and earn recognition in out lives but we end up not being who we are supposed to be. We end up being someone else and portraying someones image or personality in order to fit into the world. We tend to go with the flow of the world or I would say the flow of mankind.

We just follow the direction of famous celebrities or MTV because it's the latest trend and all. We don't want to be left out in the world. I personally felt that we must be secure individually first and that's important for ourselves as we live in this world with so many pressure. If we keep following the flow of mankind, we will never have our own direction and we are not fulfilling God's plan for us. We won't be living our life to the fullest as God has planned for us but we end up living our lives being someone else by trying to catch up with the all latest things. Imagine you're an actor just acting to satisfy everybody. Imagine being someone you're not supposed to be for the rest of your life!

Here's a story of a jellyfish and a salmon. The similarity is that they are both fishes but they have different purposes as a fish. For example, a jellyfish is a fish which will just flow in the direction wherever the sea current is taking it. It will just float and let the current take it to anywhere. It's like letting go of everything and just go with the flow.
A salmon on the other hand is a unique type of fish and they are anadromous which means they migrate on a regular basis. For the salmon fish, they are born in fresh water, migrate to the ocean, then return to fresh water to reproduce. For them to return to the fresh water to reproduce, they have to swim against the flow of the river and many of them will become free meals for grizzly bears which will just catch it with their mouths when the salmons are jumping out from the water to go against the flow of the river in order to reach the fresh water to reproduce.

The salmons know that they are up for many challenges as they have to go against the flow of the river in order to reach the fresh water. They know their purpose which is to reproduce and they will end up dying after reproducing but they know their purpose. Although they have to go through so many challenges and know that they are going to die after they reproduce, they still do it because they know their purpose.
Who would have thought that salmon would be a good example for us as humans to follow besides being a good ingredient for sushi? We have to be like the salmons and swim against the flow of the river. We need to know our true purpose in our lives and although there will be many challenges up ahead, we will still do it and reach the fresh water in our lives. Don't be like the jellyfish which does not have a direction and let the sea current determines where it would go to.

Be yourself and not someone else. Stand up and speak up for the right thing and not let the world pulls you down. If you don't stand up for something, you'll fall for anything.
We at least say this before, "Just go with the flow" in some things that we are doing but it's time to go against the flow of the world and go with the flow of God. God has made each and everyone of us special but we are here for a same purpose that is to share His love to the world. So do you want to be a flow rider for the world or a flow rider for God? =)

Don't become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think.

I had an awesome time last weekend although I was exhausted with all the traveling and work to be done. I was at Alor Setar on Thursday with Pragas and Darren to share about Recess Revo and one boy gave his life to Jesus after listening to our testimonies on how God changed our lives after we became Christians. I was excited to be there as I found out that there were many non-believers in the CF and in fact, there were only 2 Christians out of 14 people who attended the CF. To my surprise, the CF was even led by a non-believer. God is truly working in Alor Setar and the CF teacher advisers have to do that as they are the only school in Alor Setar to have an official CF and if nobody wants to take it up, it will have to be close down. We also had a chance to share to another teacher after the CF about Recess Revo and she was so excited for it that she is bringing some of her youths for the Wildfire Party on the 22nd August! It's happening next Saturday and you wouldn't wanna miss it. Log on to the Recess Revo blog's link under ministry in the sidebar for more information. =)

Personally, I learned a lot this week from how other people run their ministry and how God is working in KL. We attended the Klang Recess Revo gathering and I was inspired and encouraged with what the young people are doing over there. It's just amazing to see them being so bold and living by the tagline of Recess Revo that is Show UP, Stand UP, Speak UP. =)
Came back on Saturday evening and bought Carls Junior before we headed back to Penang! Haha. You can't find that in Penang but the good news is that it will be opening at the end of this year in Queens. The greater news is that I somehow know the manager and he gave me free toys! ;)

Big Sunday took place at Equatorial Hotel on Sunday and thank God for a wonderful anniversary service. We saw at least 1000 people who attended the service and I think there were more than 50 people who gave their life to Jesus on that day itself. I just know that the altar was packed and people were just coming out from their seats during the salvation call. Praise God for a BIG Sunday and God is definitely BIG because He made it possible. =)
This will be my last week of working and I'm taking a one week break before I go to China with Pragas. It won't really be a break because Wildfire Party is happening next weekend and there are many things to be done but I need some time to prepare for my China trip as well. I found out that we will be ministering in a youth camp at a hot spring hotel or something like that. That sounds fun but as I know, we're going down to China at the hottest weather at this time with temperature hitting as high as 39 Celsius. It's gonna be awesome and I'm so excited about it because it's gonna be HOT!

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIEND! =) Finally after 2 months and 6 floorball matches, PFL Division One is over and Ztec 8cers emerged as champions. Kudos to all the guys as everyone did
well and I personally felt that we learned to play better as a team through this league. We worked hard for it and we deserve it. My first gold medal in the last 2 years since I started floorball and Ztec's first title as well. We will be defending our title next year and I can't wait for it. Hopefully I'll still be in Penang to play next year. =)

August will also be an exciting month for me. Wildfire@RR P.A.R.T.Y is happening on the 22nd August and my band, Point Of Difference will be performing. After that, I'll be away in China with Pragas for a week as we are speaking in a youth camp and sharing Recess Revo to the youths over there as well. Praise God for this open door and I'm excited to see them catching the fire and bringing a change to their nation. ;)

I'll also be away in Alor Setar tomorrow to share about Recess Revo in a school and Pragas, Darren and I will be heading down to KL after that to visit a CF in Subang the next day and we're invited to Klang Recess Revo Gathering the following day. So I'll be away for 3 days and I'm coming back on Saturday evening for a revival meeting. Will be rushing from one place to another but I'm really excited about the things that God is doing among the youths.

Having A Strong Spirit

Recently, I visited ACTS church during their Sunday celebration when I was down in Kuala Lumpur. Pr.Andy spoke a powerful message that morning and it was about "Having A Strong Spirit". Here are a few of his slides of his message taken from his blog which I personally think serves as a good reminder to us. You can check out his blog for more of his slides.

In fact, I've been hearing pastors from everywhere preaching almost the same message about having a strong spirit for the past one month and I couldn't agree more. We are living in a broken world and many things are happening around us today. There are so many influences everywhere and walking in the spirit is not something easy nowadays with all the "happening" things around us. We sometimes lose our mind about who we really are and tend to fall into the world.

Something good is definitely happening in our nation and I can see signs of revival taking place. More young people are rising up like never before and I'm so excited when I hear of all the great testimonies in the past few months. Yep, it's great to be excited but excitement can sometimes lead us in the wrong direction. We tend to do our own plans instead of God's plans. We tend to lead God instead of Him leading us.
The only way to overcome this is to go back to the basic that is praying and seeking His direction. Let the Holy Spirit guide us and let His will to be done instead of ours. Stop being the driver for God but let God be your driver and direct us!

That goes to us who are busy serving and ministering to people as well. There will definitely be attacks of the enemy and we need to have a strong spirit to stay focus. There are times when we feel like letting go of everything but we have to live by the phrase, "No pain, no gain".
Remember, Jesus died for us so that we can find hope in salvation.

It's easy to just give up everything we've been working for when emotions take place,
But it's not easy to build it back again when revelation takes place.

What a great week! I only worked one day out of my five working days because my work is practically done and I have nothing much left to do in office. Haha. That gave me time to work on some other things and Recess Revo: Penang is on YouTube now. Click here to see videos from Recess Revo: Penang! Point Of Difference will be also performing on the 22nd August at the Wildfire@RR P.A.R.T.Y! We've practiced a new song and will be playing it on that day itself. Looking forward to it and I'm so glad to have a bunch of band mates who are supportive and we just do what we believe in. =)
Ztec is also doing well in Division One so far. We're on top of the table and one more win away from winning the title. Last Thursday, we beat Innebandy 5-2 and kudos to all the guys that played their hearts out. One more win and we're champions! Let's do this, Ztec!

I'm having another two days of break. Didn't apply for it but my boss asked me to take another two days of break. That means I haven't been working for one whole week. Haha.
Just came back from Kuala Lumpur two days ago and I had a great time over there although I'm hungry most of the time. SEGI Revolution P.A.R.T.Y was great! First time held in any campus in Malaysia and there were almost 200 people that came for it plus 12+ salvation! Praise God for that and I'm looking forward for the day we can do that in Penang. =)

The match between Manchester United and Malaysia XI was great too! It was a great experience for me and I can't believe that I'm looking at them playing just less than 200 metres in front of me. Bought the RM58 tickets but went in early and managed to get nice seats which is the 7th row from the front. Haha. And I was walking back when the Manchester United bus was coming out from the stadium and I saw all the players in the bus. I saw Ferdinand sitting at the last row in the bus playing with his Ipod. I guess he have to sit at the last row because he's the captain of the team so he can take a good look of all the lads in the bus. =D
I have pictures but it's all in Cui Lin's camera. Will upload it when I get it from her.

Anyway, I went to check on UTAR in Petaling Jaya but I still haven't decide if I'm going there. I still have a lot of time to think about it so no worries! =)
So I'm free today and it's a good day of break for me. I just finished doing all the designs for Recess Revolution T-shirts. Once again, another big shout out to Cui Lin for helping me and giving ideas for the T-shirts. You are the woman la! ;)

Finally I have a rest day today so I thought of updating my blog. =) Well, I just came back from GBC after sharing about Recess Revolution over there and I really thank God for opening so many more doors for us. The past 4 weeks have been exciting and God is working and using people that are willing to do it for Him and not just those who are able. It's just great to see many young people rising up from their comfort zone and being so radical. =)

Anyway, I'll be away to Kuala Lumpur next weekend for the SEGI Revolution P.A.R.T.Y. It's held for the very first time in a campus and I'm looking forward to it because it's going to be awesome! I'll also be watching the match between Manchester United against Malaysia at Stadium Bukit Jalil on Saturday evening. It's gonna be my first time watching them playing in Malaysia and I can't wait for that. Hopefully some of the big names will be playing on that night! This will be a short holiday because I've been busy so it'll be a good break for me. I'll also be looking for a guitar so I do hope I'll find the right one for me. =)

Just some updates about Penang Floorball League that is still going on now. We played our third game against Dalat Eagles last Thursday night and we won 20-1. Yep, we were aiming for 22 but we only managed to get 20. Still a great job by all the guys and we are on top of the table now with 2 more games to go. The situation is definitely gonna be more intense now and we can't afford to draw or lose any games. So let's held our heads high and win this! 1,2,Whoosh!
Ter Min took me to a mamak after our game and it is called Mama Dinosaur because they serve the drinks in a very big glass. It's much bigger than the normal outside one la, that's why they call Mama Dinosaur. There is small, medium, big, Dinosaur and Mama Dinosaur. If you wonder where's Papa Dinosaur, I also don't know why they didn't come up with that. Haha.
Since last Thursday, I've been going there every night first my CG and on Saturday with Wen & Jan cause Jan is finally released from her home quarantine. So far, everybody enjoyed eating at Mama Dinosaur and I have some picture to prove it. I only have pictures of my CG members because they asked me to take pictures for them.

Recess Revo:Penang!

Quick announcement! Recess Revo's blog is finally done after few days of planning and doing it. Thank God for His guidance and a big shout out to Cui Lin as well for helping me with the design. Through this, I learned that God makes the impossible SO possible when we depend on Him. I knew nothing about HTML and I'm just a novice with my Photoshop skills so I used Paint to edit the pictures and all. Haha. Sounds impossible? Well, God make it possible! =)

Hey, what's up people? I'm back after almost two weeks MIA. Was busy with my work and all the Recess Revo stuff as well. Everything has been great and I'm excited about many more great things that will be happening. Currently, we have 14 schools joining us and there are so many amazing testimonies that are happening in all these schools. The young people are impacting their schools and that is exactly what we want to see! =)
Anyway, we also have a new Facebook group and fan page for Recess Revo as well. We called it "Recess Revolution: Penang!" as this is the RR in Penang and we want to stay connected to continue to inspire each other with the things that we are doing in our school. Our new blog for Recess Revolution:Penang will be coming out soon as well and I'm currently inthe process of creating it. Will let you all know when it's done! ;)

So if you still wonder why am I'm helping in this Recess Revolution thing when I'm not studying in school anymore, that's a good question. Haha. Well, I don't have the chance to impact my school last time so now I'm helping students to impact their schools and make an impact there. It is also a burden that God has placed in my heart and I'm so inspired to see all the young heroes out there being so radical for Jesus!
And I will finally have the chance to impact my ex-school, Penang Free School when we will be going in soon to share more about RR. That's gonna be great! =)

Alright, enough of Recess Revolution. I still have many more great testimonies on that but it's best that you go to the website to check it out. Haha. Things have been great and I just got my first salary after working for almost a week. They pay me at the end of the month and I only get my 7 days of working pay cause I joined them at the end of the month. Taking out my family for a dinner tonight and will be getting my new guitar SOON! =)

Transformer actually have a sister. If you look carefully in the movie, you'll know that the sister of Transformer is "Transistor". Oh, you will find that in your Physics text book as well. Haha.
Transformer have papa and mama too. You can't really see them in the movie cause they are "Transparent". =D

Penang Floorball League Division One finally kicked off with our first match against last year's champions, Contact Fireants. We knew it was not going to be easy facing the champions but we were out there to prove that we can do it! I would say that it is one of our sweetest victory compared to matches where there is a double-digit goal margin. We won 7-0 on that night and that boosted our confidence for the next 4 more matches. I've also started my part-time job at Magnificent Freedom which belongs to one of my church member. It is a company which marks exam papers from all around the world. I've seen exam papers from Hong Kong, Kenya, Bangladesh, Mauritius and many more. More to paperwork and I'm getting used to it. I have a good employer, colleagues, and a good pay as well! Praise God for the job. =)
Also, Recess Revo has already been started in many schools and I believe there will be more to come. I'm excited about it as well as the students and this is the beginning to something greater.

For greater things have yet to come, for greater things are still to be done in this city.

Finally, my exams are over! It's a big relief for me after one long month of sitting for 13 papers. Yep, I know that's a lot. Haha. So what am I up to now? I'm looking for a job and just found one today. Still haven't confirm about it yet but it should be done soon. Results will be coming out on August and I'll see what to do after that. Will be starting studying next year if everything is ok. =)

Anyway, I went for Revo Conference just a week ago. It was a 3 days conference but I only managed to attend the last day due to my exams. Trust me, it was worth it! =)
I knew in my heart that God was calling me to go for this conference and I just went for it although it's not practical to go in the midst of my finals. But hey, God gave me His best so why can't I give him my best too? ;)

I went there with an expectation in my heart and I know that something amazing is going to happen. True enough, something amazing happened during the last night of the conference. We were all Revivalist after that night. It's not just going to spread in KL but I know it's going to happen in this nation. A change is about to come and we are already catching that in Penang. More schools are starting Recess Revo over here and something great is going to happen. =)
If it doesn't start from us, when will it happen? The time is now and it has to begin with us. There's no point wearing T-shirt saying "The Revolution Begins With Me" without letting it begin from you. It's time to walk the talk! =)

After having a post about revolution earlier, I had the urge to go for Revolution Conference in KL. I just felt that something is taking place and something is calling me there.
Well, I'll be finishing my A-Level exams next week and I didn't plan to go at first but now, things change! ;) After talking to a few people, I've decided to go for it although I'll be missing the first day of the conference. At least I have 2 more days to go when I'm there. Will be catching a bus to KL in the afternoon tomorrow straight after my exam and will be at the Revo Party later tomorrow night. Yep, you can call this crazy but I know I'm crazy for the right purpose. =)

I was there last year and my life completely changed after that and I know this year, it will be the same again. So, I'm all ready to go for this conference and I'll be back before the week starts because my next paper is on Tuesday. Haha. Will update more about it after my exams end next week.
One thing is for sure, a revolution is coming! =)

The exam season is here. For me, I will be sitting for my A-Levels exam which I hope I won't be sitting for the paper again end of this year. If everything is okay, then I'm done with my course and it's time to look for a new course to study. I guess it should be Mass Communication or something else after this. I just want to do something that I like. =)
Don't know if I will be in Penang or KL after this but I'll be going down to KL after my exam to help out my brother with his new business. Will be coming back to Penang at least once every week because I'm playing in Penang Floorball League and there are matches every week. I'm hoping to come back every weekend too for CG and SNL. Not sure what are my plans yet but I just want to finish my exam for now. My first paper will be starting tomorrow and my last paper is one month from now. Yep, they stretch the exam for a long time but it's good for me to do last minute studying. Haha. =)

I'll be also missing Overcomer Youth Camp and Revolution Conference due to my exam. It's like the thing that I've been looking forward to but I can't make it because I'm sitting for two papers on that week. =/
But on the bright side, I've confirmed my flight tickets to China! =) Won't be celebrating our National Day back in Malaysia so Pragas and me will be celebrating it in China. Haha. Thank God for His timing for us to purchase the flight ticket. We were planning to do it around 3 weeks ago and the total fare was around RM700+. It's considered cheap because we're travelling using Air Asia. I still have the RM200 voucher which I got during my mission trip to Indonesia so after everything, I'll still have to come out with RM500+ by myself. That's not including my personal expenses and etc. So, we decided to wait for one more week to buy the tickets and praise God that we did that. A week later, we went to check it online and the fare was almost 50% cheaper. It's only RM300+ and we booked the ticket without any hesitation. =D
So after using my RM200 voucher from Air Asia, I just need to pay RM100+ for the rest of the fare and my brother sponsored me for it. Really thank God for it because I still haven't collected enough money for this trip to China and now it's much easier for me to settle the rest. =)

I'm very excited about this trip to China because it's not like a mission trip. Yep, we're doing a mission there but it's different because we're speaking in a youth camp. I'm currently preparing for that youth camp and I'm looking forward to it. I know it's going to be great! ;)
I remember how me and my friends used to joke about going back to China because our ancestors were once from China. That makes China our home as well and I do have a small China flag in my room. Haha. Pragas's theory which is that he will one day go to the countries based on the items he have from that specific country such as their currency, flag, souvenir, etc. Well, it seems to be working on me as well because he bought me a small China flag when he went to China last year and I'm going to China this year. Haha.

Also, I just finished composing "Awesome" for POD and we really need to get back to practicing after the exams. I guess I'll be back here after my exams and all the best to those who are sitting for their exams as well. Godbless! =)

Overcomers Youth Camp 2009

Youth Camp is finally back again this year! It is organized by our youths called Excel Youth from Excel Point Community Church,Penang. This year, our theme is Overcomers and it will be during the school holidays from 31st May until 1st June. Our camp speaker is Pr.Elijah from Church Of Praise. The camp fee is only RM200 inclusive of accommodation, transport and meals for 4 days 3 nights. It will be held at My Gopeng Resort Park which is a great place and I've been there once for white water rafting. You can check out the place here and trust me, it's really good! =)

I believe this year will be another great camp and we're going to have an amazing time. Things are definitely going to be more special this year due to the venue of the camp which has many activities. Sadly, I can't make it for the camp as I will be having sitting for my A-Levels paper on one of those days. But YOU can make it happen! Be there or be 'overcomed'. Yep, I'm 'overcomed' by my exams. Haha.

Sons & Daugthers

I was listening to a sermon by Pr.Kong Hee about sonship in Christ recently and I agree with one of this points which says,

Being a son is not just being baptized by the Holy Spirit or being baptized by water, it is being baptized by the generic code of the house.

That phrase hits me and I totally agree with it. Many of us are just being servants in the house, not sons. We can be good servants which will do what we are told to do, but a son will know what to do without being told. Are we just serving for the sake of doing our duties or is there a relationship between a Father and son?
Pr.Sam once spoke about being secured as a son in Christ. If we are secured as sons and daugthers in Christ, we will not be shaken and lose our purpose in life. There are different types of servants in the house of God ranging from pastors, leaders, musicians, ushers, etc. And many of us are just serving because we are given that position. What it one day you have been demoted to a lower position? Let's just say you've been told to take a break because of your unsatisfactory performance. Are you going to give up and let go of everything? What will you do?

At the end of the day, our master will say to us; "Well done, good and faithful servants."
He won't be saying well done to us based on our position in this world. You won't be hearing Him say; "Well done, you good and faithful CG leader of this group or electric guitarist for this band, and etc." He will just refer to you as a servant.
That's why we have to be secured as sons and daughters in Christ because once you are secured, positions or powers won't be your goals anymore. You don't have to be told what to do like a servant but you will KNOW what to do as a son. You will develop yourself just like your Father because that's what every son will do. They have the same DNA with their Father whether it is on Earth or heaven. And perharps many of us have to start developing the same DNA with our Father.
There's one phrase which says; Like Father, like son. And many of us have to start being sons and daugthers and learn to be like our Father.

What's up, people? =) Have been busy since my last post which was about my mission trip to Indonesia. Anyway, I'm currently thinking of going for HMI India this coming October after I had a dream about it last week. Who knows, that dream might come true. =)

I just finished writing a new song which is called "All For You" and it will be POD's second single. Still writing more songs and we're actually having plans of recording our first single, "Faithful". I guess it should be done in the next few months if everything goes well. =)
Praise God for our performance during REVO Party back a few weeks ago. I believe there will be more to come and we're glad and blessed to be able to share our song with the people that came on that night. I also did a solo performance during Easter Sunday and it was my first time performing alone. It was a good experience for me and once again, I thank God for the opportunity. =)

2 more months until the end of my exam and I still don't have any plans after that. Will be looking for a place to continue my studies which might be in Penang or KL. I'm not planning to go overseas because I know I don't want to go out of this country to further my studies. Haha. Sounds stupid because I take A-Levels and I'm supposed to go overseas if I take that course but I just know that there's a calling for me to be here and I'm trusting that. So I'll just wait and see what happens next. =)
Anyway, I'm back to floorball again after almost 7 months of break. It was a good time of rest for me and to focus on other areas in my life. I won't be playing so often but I'll be playing when I do have the time. Will be playing for the Youthwave Challenge this coming week and Penang Floorball League Division One in June. It's been a long time and I'm excited to get back into the action. =)

Indonesia Mission Trip

First time flying out of Malaysia and first time going to Indonesia. I know, most of my holidays are in Malaysia. Haha. ;)
Anyway, I was in Indonesia from 24th March to 29th March. We were supposed to come back on the 30th but our flight was delayed and we couldn't make it back in time for Kathleen to sit for her exam later at night so we decided to come back one day earlier. Thank God we did come back one day earlier because the flight was delayed as well and we spend a lot of time in the airport. Haha. Air Asia was rather disappointing and we were informed at the very last minute that the flight was delayed when there's 30 more minutes before boarding. Yep, that's really last minute but everything happens for a reason. The flight was delayed for more than two hours and we got free cash vouchers to purchase air tickets. And I'm using that for another mission trip to China in August. God has His ways of doing things. =)

I was actually very excited about this trip to Indonesia and I just know that it's going to be great. Indeed, it has been an awesome mission trip and I really see God working in that nation. =)
This mission trip was actually a History Makers mission trip as we are going to attend History Makers International Indonesia Conference. There were teams from Lampung which is in Indonesia itself, Penang representing Malaysia, Okinawa and Osaka representing Japan, and Singapore. On our first day there, we get to rest before the conference starts the next day. Went to had the only ice kacang in Palembang and it was ok. Can't compare it with the one in Penang and I told the people in Palembang that ours is the best in the world. Haha. I'll definitely let them try it when they come down to Penang in August. ;)

Our second day in Palembang started with the first day of HMI Indonesia Conference and I was told that I'll be playing acoustic guitar for HMI Japan as they are leading one of the worship sessions in the morning. Yep, it was last minute and I didn't even have time to practice with them. Being not a really experienced player, it was tough for me because I never played with anyone else before except for Point Of Difference. Haha. Just did my thing and thank God that it went well. =) After the sessions in the afternoon, we went shopping around our hotel and I bought my first Converse shoes for only less than RM15. Yep, it is original and the price of the shoes are super cheap because the shop was having offers and discounts. We went at the right timing. =D
Had a crusade at the church later that night and it was a great message by Pr.Richard from HMI Singapore.

We had sessions from morning to afternoon again the next day followed by crusade at night. During our break time, we went back to the sports shop again to take a look at more shoes and I planned to buy even more. Haha. We even changed extra Malaysia Ringgit to their currency so we get to spend more. Smart eh! ;)
On the last day of the conference which was THE day, we went for street evangelism in the morning. We went to the streets and even into schools to sell tickets for the concert that will be held later that night at the largest discotheque in Palembang. As far as I know, this is the first time any church has done it in Indonesia. Taking a church service to a discotheque? Yep, we did exactly that and HMI do live by their motto which is Radical For Jesus. The best part is that nobody knew that it was going to be a church service and everybody thought it was a concert which consists of bands from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Japan. Haha.

Here's another radical thing that we did. We had a rally on the way to Novetel Center Stage for the concert and there were around 15 cars carrying flags and banners with writings of John 3:16, Jehovah Rapha, Jesus Christ and etc. As we are on the way to the hotel, we caught a lot of people's attention and we were lifting up God's name in Indonesia which is a Muslim country. At that time, there were campaigns by politicians as well because of the upcoming election but here we are, driving around the town and having a rally for Jesus. He's the true politician that they need and I believe the walls will be broken down soon! =)

Almost 500 people came that night and 80% are Muslims. Soul Addicted which is a band from HMI Palembang was rocking the whole night but it was all Christian songs. Even for the first song, the name "Allah" was in the song and I thought that many people would leave that time as they would figure out that it's going to be a Christian event. I looked around but I see even more people coming into the club. God is really working something in that place. =)
After performing around 6 to 7 songs, the lights at the center stage went off. It was total darkness and a rather disturbing song started to play. Everybody looked around to see what's going on and then, 4 satans carrying a coffin came in! Yep, these are the pastors from all the HMI countries and they dressed up as satans. Haha. They carried the coffin and put it on the center stage. By the way, this is a real coffin which fits a size of a normal human being!
What happen next? Pr.Richard came out from the coffin and shocked the whole crowd when he shouted, "What's going on!?" Everybody stood quietly and he started preaching with an interpreter with him. He shared that death can take place anytime when we are all having fun and he shared his testimony about how he was saved by Jesus when he was drowning in a river. He gave an alter call and 67+ people came out to accept Jesus. That's amazing! =)
Around 40 of them are Muslims. God is really amazing and the conference's theme was Global Harvest which was definitely true as we have so many new souls added to His kingdom. Praise God for His presence and the works of the Holy Spirit in that place.
That was the last night of the conference and most of the teams left the next day except for us. Haha.

We were free the next day and we just relaxed and enjoy the day. It was a good rest day for us and we had time for shopping again. Went to look for shoes again and I bought a Converse shoes on that day for my sidekick. =)
Oh, I didn't tell you about this yet. The church is actually located in a bowling center itself. It is something like the one in Bukit Jambul Complex. Haha. There were snooker tables,pool tables and cafes. The church is located just right in the center of all of that! It makes a really good place to reach out to the people as many non-believers visits that center. Had a pool session with some of the people from Palembang later that night. It's been a while since I last held the cue stick but I can still play it. Managed to win a friendly international tournament between Pr.Robert and I. Malaysia Boleh! =)

We attended the Sunday morning service the following day. There were two services on that day and the earlier one is for the families while the later service are for the youths. Had a great time in both of those services and we did our drama presentation. Aaron and me sang "Tuhan SegalaNya" which is translated by me. It's actually the song "God Of Everything" from ACTStream. I believe it was a blessing to the people in Palembang. =)
Oh, and being a typical Malaysian, we still had shopping at the very last minute and I bought a Converse shoes for myself. It's seriouly cheap, you'll buy it if you were me. Trust me! Haha.
Reached back Penang at midnight thanks to our delayed flight but thank God for that because I now have my air tickets to China in August. ;)

So what did I exactly learned from this trip to Indonesia? To be honest, I didn't do anything much but I learned a lot of things. It was a different mission trip because we were there to attend the conference and it was more of receiving. =)
Met a lot of new people from different countries and had a good time of bonding with them. People from Japan and Indonesia, keep it up with what you all are doing in your nation! God will reign over your nations one day!
It was really good and I've learned to be more radical for Jesus. Just win the lost at any cost! And Kathleen and me did just that when were back in Penang. We applied what we learned during the street evangelism in Indonesia and we did it in Queensbay. Haha. It wasn't that effective but at least we are just doing what we can do and God will do what we cannot do. How did we do it? I'll blog more about that next time. =D

Just a quick update, Point Of Difference will be performing at Revo Party @ FGA Center tomorrow night. Really praise God for this opportunity and it's an honour for us because we started this band as we were inspired by bands such as Army Of Three and Four Letter Story when Darren and I went down for Revolution Conference in Kuala Lumpur last August. We felt that Malaysia should have more bands that are rocking the nation for Jesus and that was one of our aim in POD. =)
Really praise God for this and I believe that the boys are going have a great time performing. We will be opening the party with our first single, "Faithful" and it's only our second time performing it on stage. Looking forward to it and I hope that people will be blessed by the song. All glory goes to God! =)

Indonesia, here I come! In less than 36 hours, I'll be in Palembang, Indonesia. ;)
Very excited and looking forward to it. I know many great things are going to happen through the conferences, crusades and everything. It's a great opportunity for me to learn a lot of new things as well by working with people from different countries. Will blog about it when I'm back from Indonesia. =)

Also, Revolution Tour will be in Penang on the 3rd and 4th April 2009. That's just 2 more weeks away so do make yourself free and come for it. It's going to great! The Revo Party on the 3rd of April will be at FGA Centre, Air Hitam and the one on 4th of April will be at EPCC. Both the events will start at 7.30pm so do come for the both nights and I believe a revolution will take place. =)

Point Of Difference finally kicked start with our first single, "Faithful" in SNL Testimony Night last Saturday. It was our debut performance and all of us were nervous but we did had a good time performing and I believe it was a good performance. Really thank God for this opportunity and I know that He will open up more doors for this band. =)

Oh, and there's 6 more weeks left to my exam. Time really flies. =/ Will be away in Indonesia for a week from the 24th March until 30th March and I'm going to miss 4 days of my classes but I know it's worth it. So excited to go for my first mission trip and it's an international mission trip. We will be heading down to Palembang and it's part of HMI mission trip as well. We have HMI Japan joining us and 2 pastors from HMI Singapore will be ministering with us. I know it's going to be amazing and I'm going to learn a lot from this mission trip. Really looking forward to it! ;)

Anyway, I'm going to share a short testimony about my mission trip to Indonesia.
Since last year, my parents have been planning to go for a holiday in Canada and they decided to go this year. So, all of us applied for the visa and they went down to the embassy in Kuala Lumpur last 2 weekends except for me. We thought that everything will be okay because I have to attend my classes so that should be a good excuse. =D
But on that day itself when they went to apply for the visa, the officer in the embassy held back my passport because I wasn't there to apply for the visa and he wants me to go down to Kuala Lumpur to get the visa personally. My parents talked to him and he said he couldn't do anything because of the rules and regulations. And if that happens, that means I will have to find a day to go down to Kuala Lumpur just to get back my passport so that I can go for my mission trip to Indonesia which was in another 2 weeks time. I didn't know about all of these things until my parents came back from Kuala Lumpur but I did pray for God's favour to be upon us so that the embassy will approve the visa for us.
For your information, it's not easy to get a visa to enter Canada and United States. Even for our photos that we have to submit to them, it is required that we have to show at least 90% of our forehead. That means for people with long hair, it's going to be a big trouble for them and the best way is to cut your hair short. Haha. Yep, that's one of the requirement so that they can see your entire face. Apparently, the rules are more strict now after the 9/11terrorist attack.
Anyway, the officer didn't allow my parents to get the visa for me. So, my parents just did their visa and they will have to collect it later in the afternoon. At that time, my passport was already held back by the officer.
Here's the amazing part. When my parents went later in the afternoon to get their visa, the first name the officer called was my name. They were shocked because the officer had already rejected my application but now he is calling my name to get my visa. My parents went to the counter and he said it's okay, I can just get my visa and my passport back. Now the tough part is that I have to sign a document for the visa but I wasn't there at that time. So, he asked my brother to forge my signature for me. And that's in front of an officer from the US embassy which has one of the toughest chance of getting a visa to enter their country because of the strict rules and regulations.
Isn't that amazing? I believe God's favour is really upon me at that time. Even when I wasn't there to solve that problem, He already took care of everything for me. And in the word of God, it says God will never leave nor forsake you. Yep, He did everything according to His word and He worked something out for me. I really thank God for His favour and now I have my passport together with me to go for my mission trip to Indonesia and I also have the visa to enter Canada and United States. God is great! =)

The Sun Will Shine Again

What's up? I'm studying at home today. Haha. The past weekend has been good. Went for TGIF last Friday and it's called Wii Friday from now onwards. It stands for Walaoeh, It Is Friday! The youths are definitely creative coming out with this name. Haha.
Went to SNL on Saturday and Pr.Sam preached about the abundance of God and I'll share a little which I've learnt. The title was, "When you are down to nothing, God is up to something". Yep, that's very true indeed and God is always up to something all the time. And He shines the most at these difficult times with so many issues taking place in the world. Some of us always forget the abundance of God or some do not even remember about it. When bad times hit us, are we trusting God or do we just grumble and worry about all the things that are happening?

Here's a good example. The 1973 oil crisis and the 1979 energy crisis increased public awareness that oil is a limited resource, and that it would eventually run out as an economically viable energy source. Due to that, it has led to a greater increase in renewable energy and spurred research in solar power and wind power. More than 30 years later to where we are today, we are still surviving and more alternatives has been found. Those are just like the abundances around us but we never seem to notice it. If we look after it, we'll find it.
Here's another interesting fact. The Sahara is the world's largest hot desert and is often referred to as "The Greatest Desert". But how many of you know that there are actually 14 lakes below that desert? Yep, there are 14 lakes under the world's largest hot desert and it has been found by satellite technology. It is determined by the radar image taken from space. It has always been there but not many people know about it unless they actually look for it.

There are plenty of abundances around us but it is just not showing up YET. It will when the time is right. But for now, we just have to trust God and believe for His provision. Just like one of Altered Frequency's songs which says, the sun will shine again! =)

HMI conference was a blast! Had a great time during the 3 days of the conference and definitely learned a lot from this conference. =)
Point Of Difference is doing well too. We're getting everything on track and ready to perform next Saturday @ SNL Testimony Night. All of us are looking forward to it as it's our debut performance and I believe it's gonna be an explosion. Come and join us on that night! ;)

Getting busier with college stuffs these days. Trials is in April and final exam in May. That's really fast! Haha. Still catching up with a lot of things and trying to cope with everything. =)
Oh, I'm planning to get a new guitar too! I think I'm the cheapest musician around. I love playing guitar but I don't have my own guitar and I'm playing acoustic guitar for my band. Haha. I don't know when is it going to be or how is it coming to me but I pray that it's gonna come! =)

I also realized one more thing that I want to do with my life that is to be a musician and to write more songs that will be a blessing to everybody. And Point Of Difference is going to be a great platform for me to start. =)
And I found out that there are actually many talented and really good local artists in Malaysia. Yep, support our country's music! The likes of Mia Palencia, Altered Frequency, Four Letter Story and etc. There are so many more talented local artists out there and I'm starting to appreciate their music. Great stuff! ;)

I'm having my braces on while I'm typing this. Hah. Finally after 19 years, I'm wearing braces now and I'll be wearing it for the next 2 years. =D
Still getting used to it and I definitely miss all the foods! Craving for good foods like Domino's, Tao, TGIF, etc. Hah. Have been having soft food for the past 4 days. =/
Anyway, Point Of Difference's debut performance is postponed to 14th March. That's 2 more weeks away and I'm very excited about it. Singing with my braces on that time and hopefully I can talk properly by then. Hah.

February has been a great month for me. Learning to depend more on God this month and I've learned so much this month particularly from YOC, Friendship Night, Leaders' Retreat and HMI which is coming up this weekend. Praise God for everything and I believe March is going to be another great month for me. The mission trip to Indonesia is one of the things I'm really looking forward to! =)

Had a great weekend although I fell sick badly on last Friday before I went up to Penang Hill for the retreat. It was a big distraction but thank God I was okay the next day. Pr.Victor showed us the movie "Tuesdays With Morrie" and we learned a lot from that movie. The two days in Penang Hill was a good experience for me and I'm learning more things as everyday goes by. Anyway, I have two good news to share. ;)

Friendship Night! How did it went on that night? I really thanked God that everything went well on that night. Even for the timing, it was perfect and every single details went well. =)
It was my first time being an emcee for any event and I was quite nervous at the beginning. It took me quite awhile before I managed to get used to it and start talking more. Hah. It was my first time performing in front a big crowd as well. Did a duet performance with Pragas and we sang one of my self-composed song, "With You". Never thought that I would be performing it front of a big crowd one day and it came true. God is really opening more ways for me. Performing again with Point Of Difference for our debut performance on March and I'm really looking forward to it. =)

Will be doing my braces soon but still not sure when is it gonna be. Hah. Might be as early as this week or further up in April after I'm back from Indonesia. =)
This week, I'll be going for a retreat in Penang Hill again which I went two weeks ago during Youth Of Covenant. It's gonna be great as Ps.Victor Wong will be training us for the two days up in Penang Hill. Oh I had a great time at YOC as well. Really learned a lot about becoming a man. Back after 2 busy but fruitful weeks! Collected the most amount of money in my life throughout every CNY. =D Went down to KL with Pragas,Nicky and Kathleen for a day trip and had my first bite of Carl's Jr! It was superb! Hah. Had the mutton and chili stuff from Wendy's but didn't manage to grab the burger. Had whooper from Burger King again. I miss it! =D
We didn't have any idea or plans about what to do when we were in KL. Visited a few of our friends and spend a few hours at Sunway Pyramid. Went early in the morning and came back late at night. I couldn't believed it that I was in KL for a day when I reached back here. Hah.

Anyway, everything has been great lately although there were times of difficulties but I've learned to stay positive and not to worry about things. When we worry, we are actually not putting our faith in action and not trusting God in our lives. That was one point that I picked up from Joyce Meyer's "I Dare You". Finally finished reading that book and I'm reading another new book now which was one of my Christmas present. =)

Oh, I'm going to Indonesia too! Heading down to Palembang on 24th March until 30th March for a mission trip and I know it's gonna be great! So excited about it and I'm looking forward to it. =)
Will be away this weekend as well for Youth Of Covenant camp in Penang Hill and Friendship Night @ SNL is only one more week away! It's gonna be great so don't miss it. Come and join us aite! =)

Just a quick update. College started and it was back to classes again. It was a good start for me and I believe it's going to be a good time for me. Had leaders' retreat and had a great time with them. Learned and received a lot of things throughout the retreat.

And Point Of Difference finally had our very first meeting to talk over things. We practiced a song on that day which we will be performing in the first week of March. Hopefully, we will be performing more that one song. So come and support us! =)
As for me, I'm busy with the upcoming event which I will post more about it soon. Have a great week ahead. God bless! =)

The End Is Another New Beginning

2008 has been an amazing year for me. Started my college life, a new floorball club, taking up leadership roles and etc. It was a year where God really elevated me to a great beginning in my life. I can see God working so mightily throughout the year and revealing so many things to me. From my ministry to my personal life, I've come out from where I used to be and I see that things are different now. Taken many steps of faith and have seen how God shown up and shown off in my life. I know that I am where I am today because of Him because I could have never make it without His grace and favour. I was a simple and ordinary person and God showed me that He can use anybody to do His works. Really thank God for every blessing that He have poured on me and also to all the people that was part of my journey in 2008. I've learned so much from many people and they were the ones that have guided me to where I am today. I truly appreciate all my family and friends for being a part of my life and they are a huge blessing to me. Though there were ups and downs in my life, I believe that God is moulding and preparing me. I'm still learning even right now and seeing how God wants me to do things. I would like to apologize if I've ever did or said anything wrongly to any of you all.

2009 is finally here and I know that it's going to be an amazing year for me. I want to see more of God and less of myself for this year. Not to walk in fear but to walk in favour with Him. I believe He will continue revealing many more things to me and I'm ready for everything! May you have a blessed year ahead! =)

True Meaning Of Christmas

Christmas is just around the corner with just a few more days away! =)

I recently shared about the true meaning of Christmas during P4G's Christmas Celebration and I shall share it here again. What's the true meaning of Christmas?

Some of us think that Christmas is all about Santa Claus, reindeer, gifts, and snows. It is always a joyful time during this season but some of us might not even know about the true meaning of Christmas. The world's population is 6.7 billion people and China represents 20% of that with 1.3 billion. It's sad to say that 90% of the population in China believes in Santa Claus.
We do watch cartoons where there are kids staying up the whole night just to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus riding the reindeer over the moon. And Santa will sneak into the house through the chimney to place the presents below the Christmas tree. Even in shopping malls nowadays, we can see a guy wearing a Santa suit and there will a lot of kids lining up just to sit on his lap to get a present. Personally, I never believe in Santa Claus because I could never imagine a fat guy sneaking into the house through the chimney and going out through that again.
If idea of Christmas is totally wrong if it is viewed that way. That is not what Christmas is all about.

Christmas is all about the gift of life. Yep we do give away gifts to people during this season but it's not about the expensive gifts that we receive, at the end of the day, the greatest gift of all is Jesus Christ. One of the most famous verses in the bible comes from John 3:16 and it says, "For God so loved the world, He gave His Son, His one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need to be destroyed but by believing in Him, one can have a whole and lasting life. It speaks about the world and not only me. He was born on this day to save us from our sins and set us free. We live in a messed up world and nobody can argue with that. We have our own problems and issues and sometimes we wonder if there is any hope. Most of us give up trying to solve our problems and it will hunt us back the next time. The Bible says, "those who receive the grace of abundance and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!"
That simply means Jesus will set everything right in your life. He came to set things right in my life and I'm where I am today because of Him. I was once blinded by the things in the world but now I look at things differently. I find hope in Him and that's the promise of God.

There's one quote that says, "the birth of Jesus is the sunrise in the Bible."
And He can be the sunrise in our lives too. Today, we celebrate this day to remember the day that changed everything in the world. He not only brings peace to us but He is the peace. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He came to save us from our sins and that is why we are set free if we have Him in our lives. This is the greatest gift that you will ever receive in your life.

Christmas is the season, Jesus is the reason

It has been a good week of resting after the wedding. =)
Bought a few DVDs and Cd's last week. James Morrison's album entitled "Songs For You, Truths For Me" is really good! Sold at an affordable price of RM29.90 but the value is definitely more than that. You won't regret getting that album. =)
Besides that, I managed to get Connie Talbot, David Archuleta and Michael Buble's album. For those who don't know who is Connie Talbot, you should really check out her songs. She's the winner of Britian's Got Talent and she's only 7 years old. Cool eh! Hah. Her voice is good for a kid her age and it will definitely grow stronger as she gets older. One artist to look out for in the future. David Archuleta and Michael Buble's album was pretty okay. =)

Oh I didn't went down for the trip to ACTS church in KL due to some circumstances. So, we'll be going down around February next year. =D
Went for 3 sessions of Prophetic Seminar organized by Paul Ang Global Vision. Only managed to attend for the last two days of the seminar because it was only open to everyone after that. It was really good and it really opened up my eyes to so many things! Learned so many new things and it was definitely a great boost for me. =)
It was my first time listening to a pastor from India and another pastor from South Africa speaking. Their message was really good and God is working mightily in that place. Great success! =D

SNL was great with Pr.Sam speaking about the meaning Immanuel. It was a great message once again. =)
Went for Kopitiam on Sunday and it was dinner at Kapitan again. First time having the "dada" tandoori. Hah. Watched a horror Chinese movie after that which was kinda cool, scary and funny. =D
Monday was a great day and spend the whole day with my sidekick. Had baking session and we made cupcakes! Did cookies as well but it didn't work out. But it's okay cause we learn from mistakes. Hah. Spend the night having dinner and going to random places. It was fun! =)

Finally, the day has come. 7th December 2008 was my brother's wedding. Something that I've been looking forward to for so long.
Was busy for the past week with the preparation for the wedding. It was a heck of a week but everything ended well at the end of the week. God always save the best for the last! =)

God has been reminding me to depend more on Him instead of His people this week. Though His people are important as well, but God never fails to attend to our problems. He was and He still is there to carry us through our time of difficulties. He is the one that knows us from the inside out.

Back to the wedding, it was tiring but fun! Woke up at 6 in the morning and went over to my sister-in-law's house at the mainland. That's the Chinese tradition where the bridegroom would have to go over to his bride's home to pick her up and bring her back his home. A tea ceremony was also held at the bride's home for the bride's relatives and likewise at the bridegroom's home where it's for the bridegroom's relative. So, we went over there to bring the bride back to my place. It was not easy for my brother and his best man as they have to go through some challenges before they can bring the bride back home. They have to drink some kind of drink which has 2 egg yolks in it. It looks nice but I don't know how it taste like. Hah. Then, there was also soya sauce for them to drink before they can see the bride and bring her home. They managed to complete all the challenges and bring the bride back home. After that, a tea ceremony was held before we head back home.

Reached back my place around 10 and then it was time for the tea ceremony for my relatives. Did the same thing they did earlier at bridegroom's place. Joel and SiuKeong came over to take some photos and I did a little of mine as well. Had buffet lunch at my place after that and then it was back to work again. I have to finish up the wedding guest list before 5pm due to some last minute changes and I was rushing to finish it. Managed to get it done and then headed to the hotel to prepare for the dinner.

I think there were around more than 450 people that came for the wedding. We had Steel Guitars to accompany us with great music on that night. They did a great job that night entertaining everybody with their music. It was more like a party atmosphere and I guess everyone had fun. I invited a few of my close friends for the dinner that night and thanks to all that came for it.

The service at Berjaya Hotel was however not satisfactory and many comments were made by the guests. Best advice is not a held any wedding ceremony or big events there because the workers can't handle everything well and there were so many blunder mistakes.

Still, it was a memorable night and congratulations to my elder and only brother. I know he is going to be a great husband just like how he has been a great brother to me. =)

1st of December. End of SPM for all the fifth formers and beginning of a great month for me. =)
Had a great time for the last few days of November. Went to Gurney last Friday with my sidekick. =)
Watched Madagascar and it was so funny! Walked around at the new wing in Gurney for the first time and it was not that bad. Few new shops but it does make the original Gurney wing looks lamer. Hah. It's like two different worlds cause of the atmosphere and everything. Old Town for dinner again which marks my third time visiting Old Town in 5 days. Had a great time over there listening to a lady singing. =D Talked and laughed over so many things. Great times! ;)
Went for mamak at Kapitan with Mich after so long. Had a good time of catching up with one another and eating unhealthy food. She eats a lot! It has been more than a year since I last went out with her so it was good talking over the old days and stuffs. Hah. =)

Saturday was pretty much a normal day. Went for SNL and Pr.Bernard preached a great message that night. Will be missing SNL for the next 3 weeks due to my brother's wedding and the trip to ACTS church in KL.
Did my shopping on Sunday in Queens. Finally got all the stuffs for myself for my brother's wedding this coming Sunday. =)
Celebrated my grandma's birthday later that night and had a good time taking photos of everyone. Hah.

Today is Monday and I'm stucked at home with nothing much to do. Unproductive day again but did managed to settle some of the stuffs for CG this week. =)

What's up? Finally back here after 4 busy and fun days. I've been doing a lot of things lately as I'm really free after my exams. After more than a month, I'm finally joining the Kopitiam gang again on Sunday. Had a good time of laughter as usual and it was simply fun! =D
Stayed over at Joel's place that night. Next day, we went lunch and then to Baptist Book Store together with Pragas, Kathleen and Debbie to get their bibles. Saw quite a number of good books and I'm gonna get it as soon as I'm reloaded. =)
Dropped the girls back at Disted after that and we went around looking for things to do. End up at Penang Road having "chendol". Great success! Hah. Went back to Joel's place to scan my brother's pictures for the slideshow that I will be doing for his wedding. Managed to scan all the pictures and saved it in Chloe. =)
Had dinner at Queens with Pragas, Dominic and Moy Qing Shuin and we watched James Bond: Quantam of Solace. It was just okay and had a great time with them. Went for Old Town after that and Joel joined us for supper.

Did the wedding slideshow on Tuesday morning and managed to get it done. =)
Went for CG outing at Bandar Perda for dinner. The traffic on the way to Penang Bridge is really bad! We took more than an hour to get to the place. It was our first time there and the place is HUGE! It's so spacious and the shops are really big. Had dinner at the food court and we walked around the mall after that. All of us were still hungry so we got Big Apple donuts and then headed to Old Town for #101! It's good but somehow the one in Penang outlets are still better. =)
We took the ferry back to the island as many of them have not been taking the ferry for a very long time. Had a great time of fellowship with all of them and it was a fun night.

Wednesday came and I had a meeting with P4G leaders to discuss on some matters. Went to trim my hair after that so that it looks neat for my brother's wedding dinner next week. Hah.
Went back to church and helped Pragas to decorate the Christmas tree and then we went for dinner at Queens. We went for Nandos instead of Old Town. Need to try something new la. =D
Got some Christmas decoration stuffs after that and headed back to church to continue with the decoration. It was a tiring and productive day. =)

And today is Thursday! Woke up early and I've got nothing much to do today. Just want to spend my day at home and have a good rest. Most of the SPM students are having their last paper today so happy holidays to you guys! For those that are still not done with it, all the best again! =)

Finally, my exams are over. It's been a long month and I'm so glad it's over now and I can concentrate on other stuffs now. =)
I've been experiencing many testimonies and great things that has happened in the past few weeks. It's really amazing how God works in our midst. Indeed, it is true that He saves the best for the last. =)

Just got back from SNL not long ago. Pr.Sam preached about "Managing Our Limitations" and it was a great message. Certainly challenged me in a few areas that I'm going through and I'm still learning.
Currently, I'm having my holidays and I'm trying to make the best out of it. So many things to do and I'm really excited about it. =)
Will update something soon. For now, I'll just end it here.

English Leaders' Retreat was great. Learned a lot of new things and it really opened my eyes to so many things. I knew it wasn't me who bring me to where I am today. It's all God's work.
The past six months has been a great revelation for me and I really thank God for everything. He has been revealing so many things to me and though there are times of difficulties, He still pick me up and lead me back to His ways. I'm excited about many more things that will be coming ahead and I know it's gonna be great. =)
My grandmother is also back home after being admitted at the hospital for the past few days. Thank God for that as well. =)

Will be sitting for my last paper on this coming Friday. After more than one month, it's finally over. =D
So many things to do after my last paper. My brother's wedding will be in just another 3 more weeks or so and I've got to prepare a slideshow for him. It will be my first time doing this for a wedding so hopefully it's gonna turn out good. =)
December will be touching down very soon and it's gonna a busy month for me. I have my brother's wedding, band meeting for the first time, writing more songs, going down to ACTS church in KL, creating a new website for Excel Youth, saving the world with my sidekick, and Christmas! ;)
I'm so excited about everything! December is gonna be great! =)

Attack Of The Enemy

Indeed, God has been testing me a lot this week. Starting with the thing about "being a true worshipper" which was my last post until the attack of the enemy on my life.
Pr.Sam preached about the attack of the enemy in SNL a few weeks back ago. He says that the enemy will attack us in all these three areas in our lives.
1. Attack through people
2. Attack through possession
3. Attack through purpose
The only way for us to get through this is to look for strength in the Lord.
In 1 Samuel 30:1-8, it tells about the story of David which was attacked by the three attacks of the enemy and how he overcome it.
I'm currently going through all these three attacks in my life in this week and I'm gonna share more about it.

I'll start with the attack of the enemy through people. This actually happened just last night. As I'm typing this post here, my grandmother is lying on a bed in the hospital. She fell down last night and it was quite serious that we have to call the ambulance to pick her up at 1.30am. I was so worried that it's going to be something serious this time because she was never admitted in a hospital before for falling down. When the ambulance came and took her to the hospital, I was just praying and asking God for healing and a miracle to take place. I send a text to a few of my friends and asking their help to pray together with me.
This morning after my Physics exam, I went to visit her and the doctor said that she's okay. There were no bone fracture or anything and she just needed to go through physiotherapy and she will be okay in a few more days. I really thank God for answering our prayer and all glory goes to Him. =)

Attack of the enemy through possession. This also happened to me just this morning as I was on my way to college. I was just praying for what had happened and all when I was driving and God reminded me to find joy in Him no matter what happens. As I received that word, I heard a bang from the back of my car. It was really a big test for me because it just happens at that instant as I received the word. Apparently, this lady which was a nurse couldn't brake in time and her car hit the back of car. I was okay and I just came out of the car to have a look and my "tanker" is alright. Told her that it's okay and then left the scene to my college to sit for my exam.

Lastly, it's the attack of the enemy through purpose. This can be related with what I shared about "being a true worshipper" which was my last post. The enemy almost took away that purpose in me but I thank God that He came and intervene it.
One thing that I really learned from this is to find strength in the Lord no matter what happens. In verse 6, it says that David found strength in the Lord his God. That's the most important point to overcome all these three attack of the enemy.
If we can find strength in the Lord when all these attack comes, we will be able to get through it. This sermon had really ministered to me a lot and I just thought of sharing it here.
Personally for myself, I managed to overcome all the attack of the enemy this week because I hold on to the word which was said in verse 6, find strength in the Lord.

In time of difficulties, will we still be able to find strength in God? So many times when bad things happen, the first question we will ask is why and we will start blaming God for all the bad things. We will literally forget about all the good things that God had done in our lives.
Always know that God has a purpose for everything to happen. It could be in any form of the attack of the enemy but remember to find strength in the Lord because it's part of growing in Him. Here are also another three ways to find strength in the Lord.
1. Look for positive people (verse 7.a)
2. Be soaked in God's word (verse 7.b)
3. Rearranged our priorities (verse 8)
Remember all these three points and we will be able to find strength in the Lord. I hope this post will help you in some ways. God bless! =)

A True Worshipper

There are three things about being a true worshipper.
1. Foundation must be right.
2. Must be filled with the Holy Spirit.
3. Must be willing to be changed by God.
This was a sermon preached by Pr.Alex Cheong last two Sundays ago and was used as our ACTS material for CG last Friday. We had a lot of discussion about this area and it was a great message. I went back home having those three things in my mind and I told myself that I must learn to be a TRUE worshipper.

Then, came SNL the next day. I guess everyone was hyped up about worship since the message that we discussed during CG was about being a true worshipper. The Sunday team took the stage on that night. Started off with the song "Your Name High" and everything was good until the drum went off beat just before the worship leader started to sing the first verse. Everyone turned their eyes to the drummer and it was his first time playing together with the worship team for the first time apparently.
I was on duty as an usher that night and I could see everything clearly from the back of the main sanctuary. The atmosphere was just somehow different that night and I could see people not being excited about worshipping anymore. Many were just standing and clapping their hands wondering what was wrong with all the "off beat" songs.
I myself was also one of them standing behind and wondering what's wrong.

Pr.Jonathan from Eagle Point Community Church came and speak on a message about Jesus' Saliva. The title speaks for itself and it's definitely to be remembered for a very long time. To make things more interesting, the message was about 20 minutes or so. Some of my ushers were wondering and asking the time because we never end our service before 9pm and it was only 8.50pm that time. I stand there and told them to get ready but deep in my heart, I was asking God why? What's happening?
It was a good message but I felt that it's not enough for a revelation and I want more! Then, God reminded me about the material about being a true worshipper that we discussed in CG the previous day. I leaned on the wall and started recalling all the three points while looking at the congregation worshipping God.
Clearly, I remembered the sentence "being a true worshipper" and all the three points. I started praying and God reminded me so many things.
Miraculously, one soul was saved that night. Amen to that! =)

That night, God showed me so clearly that it doesn't take a great message or great songs to have an encounter with God.
John 4:23 says, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seek."
It's about worshipping the Father in spirit and truth. It's about feeling the awesomeness of God and be willing to bow down and submit before Him. That is what it takes to be a true worshipper.
It's not about feeling the presence of God only during concerts and some special events, the question is are we being a true worshipper in our daily lives. If we can live to that, we will definitely have a personal encounter with Him everyday of our lives.
The word of God says that, everything that we do must be an act of worship.
Worship is not about singing songs and jumping for God, it's a way of living.

I'm not criticizing anybody here. God certainly tested us according to His timing and it was a big test. It was indeed a night that God had planned for us to learn to becoming a true worshipper.
Personally for myself, it was a great revelation for me and God really opened up my eyes that night. =)

Thank God It's Friday & Saturday! =)
Nope this is not some update about the restaurant T.G.I.F but it's about the great things that has been happening to me every Friday and Saturday.

Fridays and Saturdays are the most happening days of my week. Hah.
The past two Fridays has been my BIG DAY! Last two Fridays, it was my first time speaking about my testimony of becoming an overcomer. And last Friday, it was my first time leading worship which never in my wildest dream I thought it will happen but it did! It was also my first time leading the word in CG and that had always been my dream. =)
God has been opening up so many ways to me in my life and it's really great! One thing that I learned is God will bring us wherever we want to go if we live in His righteousness which is walking in His direction and most importantly, we must have that passion! =)
Passion to me is about how far would we go for God? How hungry and crazy are we for Him?
We can be hungry and crazy for Him during service every week but after the service ends, that's the end of the show. Just like what Pr.Alex Cheong shared last week, this is exactly like watching "American Idol" where the excitement ends after the show.

Passion is definitely way more than that! It's like watching American Idol all the times of our lives. And that so called "American Idol" must be God!
Passion is not just a word with seven letters but it's a way of life. That's PASSION! =)

Coming back to my post about T.G.I.F.&.S, now I'll explain more about Saturday.
Well, Saturday is one of the days that I always look forward to because it's Saturday Night Live! It's the best day of the week! I've been attending SNL since last year and it has been great since then. My life was transformed and I believe I'm living a better life now and all glory goes to God. =)
Besides SNL, the past two Saturdays has been a great day for me as well. Had a great time with Wen for the past two Saturdays with our outing to Queens and then jogging & hiking with Wen and her mom. =)
All the jokes and laughter that we shared was fun and I definitely had a great time. Looking forward to our next one! =)

What's up? It has been a longggg time since my last update! My past two weeks have been all about discovering the attack of the enemy, celebrating Deepavali, struggling with AS exams, writing new songs, telling my testimony, searching for direction and going through a tough time. Bad news was my computer was down for a week and just got it back a few days ago. The good news is I'm getting a new laptop! Acer 4930! =D
Have been praying for it and here it comes! Should be coming in a couple more days or so. =)

Deepavali was simply fun! Went to stay over at Praggy's place at Butterworth. It just brings me back to the old days when I used to hang out at my neighbour's place as they are taking care of me. They were a great bunch of people. =)
Finally after more than 5 years, I hear people speaking tamil to me. And yep, I understand it and answered them in English. This is one part in my life that not many people knew about. Hah. It's a really long story so I'll write it up some other time. Hah.
It was fun hanging out with his family and we just had a good time of feasting and having fun! =D

Halfway through with the AS exams now and it's not easy. Struggling with it and I know I'm not gonna do well in this exam. Oh well, I'm still waiting and searching for direction. =)
FNL was great last Friday. I represented P4G to speak on my testimony about becoming an overcomer. I was nervous at first but I find it fun! It was all okay when I went out to speak but there was just not enough time for me as I was the last one to speak. *save the best for the last eh* Hah! =D

In the midst of writing new songs as well. Done with one entitled "Faithful" and currently writing another one entitled "Waiting Here" which should be done pretty soon. We are all excited about starting the band next year which we haven't come out with a name for it yet but I was thinking of Point Of Difference. =)

Well, I'm going through a tough time but I really learned a lot from it, just trust and seek God for direction. It will come to a point where you will question Him but always know that He has the answer to everything. JUST BELIEVE! =)

Nice and irritating song. It's been playing in my mind for the past hour. I just can't stop it! Hah. Well, just done with Pure Maths paper yesterday. It's not really great and I do hope I'll do better for Mechanics. One down, seven more to go! And one more long month to go! *smacks head*

Anyway, it was a good and normal week for me. Nothing much happened except me studying for my exam. All the last minute studying and stuff, I really hope it helps! =/
One good news is P4G will be starting later tonight! That's something exciting I've been looking forward to so I know it's gonna be GREAT! =)
I'm done with my ice-breaker and I know it's gonna be FUN. Hah!

Was really ministered by a couple of sermons which I downloaded from the web this week. Great stuff and it was a great blessing to me. =)
Currently writing something which will be coming up soon I guess if I managed to finish it. So yep, looking forward for the weekends cause weekends are always great and it makes me happy! =D
Oh ya, Mamma Mia was a great musical movie! It just makes you want to stand up and just sing along. I was hoping for that to happen in the cinema but nobody did that. Boh steady la! The only bad part of the movie was Pierce Brosnan singing. Man, it was scary and horrible! I guess it's because he's getting older and he's still trying to act like he can still sing. So, just get ready when he's about to sing. Other than that, the movie is the perfect movie for those who loves musical and even if you don't like it, you will definitely love it after watching it. ;)
I don't mind watching it again and I will definitely watch it soon after I'm done with the movie KAMI. I guess I'm done here and it's time to catch my last flight to Neverland. =)

Time flies. I'm finally 18 which is considered a legal age for most of the things. Means no more sneaking in for U-18 movies anymore which I haven't done in a long time. And I'm glad I don't have to do that anymore. Hah.

First of all, I really thank God for all the people that are part of my life. Really thank God for taking me to where I am today. So many times when I fall, He was and He is still there to pick me up. Couldn't ask for more for my birthday this year. It was indeed the best birthday ever. Though I don't celebrate my birthday by hosting a party or anything, but I'm truly blessed by all the people around me especially my family and friends. It doesn't take a birthday party to know that people still remember your special day. I've got so many people to thank to but firstly to my parents for raising me up for the past 18 years and also to my eldest brother. =)

Another group of people is the Excel Youths! You all know who you are and I really thank God for each and everyone of you. I've learned so much from you all in the past one year and it has been an awesome year! And also to all my friends, I really thank you all for being a part of my journey. You all have left so many fingerprints in my life and I thank God for all of you all. May His blessing be upon each and everyone of you all. =)

Another big shoutout to the Ztec people that came and surprise me. I knew it was coming but I just pretend as if I didn't know anything. Hah. Still, thanks for everything. You guys and girls are a great blessing in my life.
Also not forgetting, the Kopitiam gang for making the night so memorable. Thanks for singing all the 3 songs in such a special way. *takes in a deep breath and sing* Hah! It was fun to be around with them because it's all about laugh, laugh and even more laughing until the end of the day.

3..2..1..Multiply! *explodes* Here you go, Remnants and L.O.L! Lol indeed. =D
Couldn't ask for more in the past week. It was a great week and somehow I just knew it even before the week started. First off, it was the multiplication of Remnants cell group. Finally! It was a great news as God is bringing us to a new level. Many are sad that we have to split up but I would prefer the word multiply. But, ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind! Hah.
It was a moment for me to remember because I've felt that I've learned and grew so much in Remnants. I was there one year ago and one year later, everything changed in a good way. I can't believe that I will be going off and leaving Remnants. Basically, L.O.L or better known as Living Our Legacy is a multiplication of Remnants so we would split up into 2 cell groups.
However, I was kicked off to P4G which is known as Passion For God. Sounds bad for I believed that I'm going there for a better purpose. God is really amazing and He had been molding me in the past few months. =)

Back to this week, it was more like a healthy week for me. Bern and me had lunch at the same restaurant for the past week. Yep, it was a vegetarian restaurant around Pulau Tikus and the food is delicious! Great success! =D
Coming to the end of the week which is on Saturday, we had our scholarship award presentation which was really boring and crappy. But Saturday night was great. SNL! Hah. This time, we had Pastor Sam Phun from Singapore. First time when he came in, I didn't even knew he was a pastor. He's just so cool! Steady la! Hah. He had many amazing testimonies and he is a living testimony himself. Listening to his testimony about his past and how God changed him was just simply amazing. Not to mention, he's one funny guy as well. Man, we were laughing all night long cause of his jokes. And it didn't end on the service itself, we took him for supper and this time there's even more jokes. He can even do street magic but I managed to trick him with some of my magic as well. Hah. He then shared about God's grace and he drew out the table when Jesus and His disciples are having their passover meal. Wow, that was a real eye opener and it just ministers to me so much. Great stuff!

Anyway, my brother just got a new puppy by the name of Cocoa. Its a 2 months old dalmatian puppy with brown spots. Here are some of the pictures. Till next time! =)

Fathering Pastor Conference is finally over. It was one of my most productive week since the One Life Revolution exhibition. Hah. Spend the entire week at Vistana Hotel helping out with the conference. Man, it was tiring but it brings such a joy to me. There were 268 pastors from Sabah, Sarawak, Indonesia and Peninsular Malaysia that came for the conference. And 268 is one BIG number. I was standing in awe throughout the conference looking at all these pastors that are living their life to serve God. Wow, it's just amazing. I can see such a passion and hunger in them for God.
Most of the pastors are from the interior area from where they come from. I can say that almost 60% to 70% of them are in Penang for the first time and I can just see the joy in their face for being at the conference. Great stuff! =)

The night before the conference, I went to help out Pragas with transporting almost 50 pastors from the airport to the hotel. Pastor Sam came along as well to welcome all the pastors. I could just see in their face that they were so happy to be in Penang. They came out from the arrival hall greeting us with a wide smile and a warm handshake. We charter a bus to pick up 40 of them and the rest went to the hotel by our church van.

The first day of the conference came and I was so excited to be there. Went there in the morning and first task was to pick Pastor Victor Wong from the airport. Pragas and me went to pick him up and it was great to have him with us. He's one of our VIP as he is overlooking the conference. A great guy indeed. I remember him speaking in the beginning of the year about our own tombstone when we die next time. That was an interesting sermon and I still have the sketch of my own tombstone. =D
Picked up few more pastors in the afternoon and helped out around the conference. Spend most of my time in the main registration desk and get to know a lot of people much better.

Second day came and the first task was again to pick up another VIP and it was Pastor Kenneth Chin this time. He was one of our guest speaker from Kuala Lumpur for the conference. It was great listening to his thoughts about our country when we were fetching him to the hotel. It was also a privilege for me to assist him throughout the day. He came to share about Dream Malaysia and it was awesome! Listening about his vision for our country is just amazing and I believe that it will happen one day in the future! =)
Same thing again on that day and I just help out in any area that I can. It was a tiring day but a fun one as well!

The third day of the conference was the best day of all. One of the activities on that day is a tour around Penang island and I was in charge of taking care of a bus. I was excited as it was my first time going on a tour around Penang island on a bus with a tour guide. My tour guide wasn't that entertaining as the other tour guides in the other buses but I did learned a lot from him. This time, I had another VIP in my bus which is Pastor Obaja from Indonesia and he is our main guest speaker. Everything went well during the tour and thank God for the great weather. It was fun to see all the pastor's reaction as most of them are in Penang for the first time and most of them are from villages from the interior part from where they come from. So, it was great looking at their expression as many were awed by things that seems to be normal to us. The big roundabout in Gurney Drive was a good example. There was this fountain thing in the middle of the roundabout and all the pastors are so excited to see that. When we stopped there for photo session, many pastors rushed to the fountain without caring much about anything around them. Including the traffic! They just ran cross the road not caring about the vehicle that is coming on the way. Hah. I was tired on that day but thinking about all the pastors during the tour just makes me smile. =)

Finally, it was the last day of the conference and this time, the session was just until lunch and then it was over. Sent a lot of pastors to the airport after lunch and I can see that they were so blessed by this conference. I was so happy to see them smiling after the conference and some are even feeling sad that it is over. There are even comments that stated that there should be extra time added for the tour around Penang. Hah. They certainly know how to have fun. =D
Overall, I believe this conference was a great blessing to all the pastors and myself as well. God just open up my eyes to so many things. One of the things that I will not forget was the 16 years old pastor. I couldn't believe his age when he told me that and he was such a wise guy. Listening to his stories just make me awed by what God can do. He is certainly a living testimony and a great example for me to follow. =)
Great experience for me and I was so blessed by helping out at the conference.

A true servant is one who goes with God's timing and not his own timing.

God just constantly keep reminding me of this word throughout the conference and that was how I get through it. =)

Finally done with trials! Great success and AS is just one more month away. Z'Liners Floorball Challenge 2008 are finally over for the ladies and juniors category. It was a great tournament and I can say that everything went really well. Thanks to Kuan Yang and Ming Hwee for their working experience. Working adults are really efficient. =D My Koreans-Malaysian kids did not bad in the juniors category considering that they are playing together for the first time. They were quite disappointed for not getting the bronze medal but I'm very proud of them. They went all the way until the end with only 3 players and there is no substitute for them. So, it's a job well done by them. HIM NE! That's the Korean way of saying gambateh! Hah. And I still owe them Baskin Robbins for getting through all the way.

The open category will be this coming Saturday and I'm looking forward to it! DREAM TEAM! Hah. Come and you shall know about it. Same time at Dalat again. =)
Yesterday was a really fun day for me. Went out with the Kopitiam gang for our weekly routine. This time, it was at New World Park's Old Town. Yea white coffee!
After that, we went to the headquarters for meeting and to celebrate both Kathleen and Caroline's birthday. Had a great time over there and definitely laughed till my jaw hurts. Hah. Watched "The Land Before Time: The Wisdom Of Friends". Yep, it's a cartoon! =D

Taadaa! I'm having my trials this week. Already done with Econs Paper 1 and Mechanics. Econs was a big screw up cause everything that I studied never came out. Did all the past year questions from 2003 to 2006 and only ONE question came out. Yep, ONE only! And Miss Boey said,"I just simply take out one past year paper between 2003 to 2006." I guess it's only one question and not one paper. Got punk'd by her big time. Mechanics was okay but it was just the time. If I was just given another extra 15 minutes then that would be fine.

Anyway, I'm going off to a new cell group in the beginning of October. It's a multiplication of Jesus Juniors. We came out with a name for the cell group and it's P4G. Passion For God. Somehow, I just felt God giving me that word passion. And Kathleen had the same thing as well. So, we finally came out with P4G. I'm sad to leave Remnants but at the same time, it's exciting to be in a new cell group. Different environment and different people. Cool! Remnants are also multiplying as well and their new cell group name is L.O.L which stands for Living Our Legacy. It can be laughing out loud as well cause that is what Remnants do best! Hah.

Also, Z'Liners Floorball Challenge 2008 will be held this coming Saturday at Dalat. It's organized by Ztec and Frontliners so we came up with Z'Liners. It will be the juniors and ladies category starting from 9.00am till 5.00pm. The open category will be on the following Saturday and that will be a great one to watch. There will be almost 14 teams competing in this tournament. So you wouldn't wanna miss it! =)

Have been busy with many stuff for the past week. Was finally back to training after one month of injury but was still out of form. Definitely need to train harder if I want to make it for Korea next year. It was a busy week but a great one as well. God ministered to me in so many areas of my life for the past couple of days. Coming up with something soon when I'm free to post about it. Anyway, trials are just one more week away. And I'm sponsoring a child from Indonesia through World Vision. Great success! =)

My trip to the Revolution Conference

Day One
Headed off to Kuala Lumpur at 5.45am. I was hyped up by then although I was still a little bit sleepy. Stopped by at Ipoh for dim sum as the "dim sum queen", Qing Ling wanted to had dim sum. Hah. Drive around in Ipoh town for a while before we finally found a dim sum shop. Food was just ok. The workers were laughing at us cause we can't speak their language which is Cantonese. And then I spilled my cup of tea on the table. Great, now they think I'm a retard. After eating, we continued on to Kuala Lumpur and reached around 11 something in the morning. Lost our way but we managed to reach Summit Hotel in the end. Praise God! =D
Went to get the hotel room keys and then went to look for the ACTS church. Once again, we lost our way in the hotel. Hah. But we still managed to find it. Then, we met up with Jolene and decided to go to KLCC. Went to take the commuter as it was easier for us. We even got lost again when we were looking for the commuter station. Everywhere in Kuala Lumpur was so confusing! There were SS15,SS2, and all the SS's.
First thing we did was we went to KLCC to had Burger King. Pragas said that we have to meet the "King" when the first thing when we touched down in KL cause we can't never get it in Penang. Decided to give it a go and ordered the Whooper burger. WOW! Man, it was a real whooper. Well, it was my first time having a taste of Burger King in 18 years of my life. Hah, I know it sounds stupid. Everybody were laughing at me for that. But if I would have tried it when I was a kid, I would definitely get addicted to it and I would probably be obese by now. Now I know why so many American citizens are obese. Hah. Thank God there is no Burger King outlet in Penang. But I certainly hope that there will be one someday. =)
But Hershey's Sundae Pie is a MUST-MUST-try! I was indulged by the taste of it. Just like M&M's chocolate, the chocolate melts in your mouth! Hah.
We then went walking around the area and we got ourselves from KLCC to The Pavillion, Bukit Bintang and we ended up in Sungai Wang. Spend some time shopping in that complex but didn't manage to get anything. I've already decided not to spend on anything else except for food. And when I meant food, it's Burger King! Whooperrr! Hah.
Went back to Summit Hotel around 4.30pm to prepare for the REVO Party later at night. We managed to get an hour of nap to recharge our batteries. Went to the ACTS church at 7 something in the evening and I was already energized by then. I knew that I was up for something GREAT!
We had a tour around the church before the party started. Pastor Andy took us to The Crib where they have their youth meeting. It's known as Teenacity as well. I really feel like a youth when I stepped into that place. The colours and the environment just blends so well together.
The band Army Of Three kicked off the party with a dazzling performance. They were really partying like a rockstar! T-t-totally dude! Hah. Great stuff by them.
Then, the Revo worship team came and took over the stage. It was so great being in that place. Everyone was moved by the presence of God and you can just see hands lifted up high for God.
I remember the song Great Is Our God that was played on that night. Indeed, God's presence was so great in that place and He's greatly to be praised!
Pastor Sandra spoke a great message on that night. One thing that spoke to me was when she touched about repentance. She said repentance is not a bad word. It doesn't mean that we have sinned and then we must repent. Repentance simply means going in the same direction as God wants us to go. Her message was awesome! It was straight to the point and it definitely penetrates through many people's heart on that night.
I went out for the altar call and God spoke to me. At this point, I'm just turning to God and submitting everything to Him. I know I can't never run this race with my own strength.
I'm sure everyone was blessed by the message and it was an eye-opener.

Bought some Revolution t-shirts and then headed off for supper at Asia Cafe at SS14. We have one in Penang too but just recently it was took over by some other cafe. Everybody ordered the same food cause we were all too lazy to walk around. Hah. Reached back hotel around 12 something and went straight to bed.

Day Two
Woke up early and got ready for the Revo academy. Elder Kien Yiak took charge of the first session of the academy and he talked about serving. I really learned a lot from him. He said that, "the more we want to serve God, the more we must die for ourselves". This sentence was indeed so true. He also said that, "the more we understand what God is trying to do with us, the faster we will grow". Sometimes, we are just going through our life with God without knowing what God is trying to do with us. If that is the case, we can't never grow. We will just get stuck in the same old place. That is why it is important to know why God is putting us in some situation because it is an opportunity to develop ourselves.
Pastor Andy then held the second session of the academy with us and he talked about working in a team. I like one sentence which he said, "alone you can go faster, but together you can go further". Wow, this sentence just hits me and it shows me the importance of working together. He then gave four points for the letter TEAM. T which stands for trust. E for eunuchs which basically means submission. A is for accountability and M is for many members, one body. His message spoke so clearly into my heart and it just opens up my eye.
We then had a session called breakout in the afternoon. We were divided into groups of youths, campus student and working adults. In our group, we are divided into teams to discuss about some topics. Pastor Andy once again lead us in the youth group and this time it was about how to start a prayer group in our school. We discussed it in our team and then Darren went up to present it. Qing Ling went to write on the board but I guess nobody can read it. Hah. Most of the Teenacity youths are there and it was exciting to hear that one of the youth will be starting a prayer group in his school next week. Amen! The academy ended earlier and then we had to find somewhere to go before the Revo Party later at night. We can't go back to our hotel rooms as we have already checked out. Thank God, the Revo team brought us to Sunway Lagoon Club and we can get our rest over there. It was a nice place to chill and just relax. The guys went to the steam room while the girls went to do their own stuff. We spend quite a while over at the steam room and it was just the thing we need. =)
After that, went to the restaurant and had our food. We then shared about what we have learned throughout this conference. And like what Pastor Sandra said, "we never know when our testimony are needed by certain people". It could just be that testimony that is going to change that person's life. So never be afraid of sharing your testimony.
Left the club at 7 in the evening and headed off to Summit Hotel once again for the Revo Party. This time, Four Letter Story open the party with a great performance. Then, it was a dance performance by Lightbulb. Man, that was da bomb! Reminds me of the good old days. Hah.
The Revo worship team then came and lead us into worship. Another great time of worship and the presence of God was so real in that place. I just can't find a word to describe it.
Pastor Sam was the speaker on that night and we gave our full support to our very own senior pastor. He spoke about God's restoration power. He said, "in order for a restoration to take place, a revolution must take place". He use the story of Jesus and Peter in the bible to show us God's restoration power. Then, he talked about the power of gravity. It was gross and those who were there at the conference would definitely understand this. Hah.
He then talked about his life before he accepted Christ into his life. We all know he was a breakdancer and it was nothing new for us. But it was something new for those who haven't heard of his testimony before. He then did his 'headspin' which makes the whole crowd go nuts! Hah. At the end of the night, I believe many people's life were changed and a revolution certainly takes place which will lead to a restoration.
It was the end of our journey on that night as one of our church members are getting married the next day so we couldn't stay for the third day of the conference. We went for supper first and then headed back to Penang at 1am. Reached back home around 4.30am.
Personally for myself, I was really blessed for the past two days of the conference and it just ministers to me so much.
Big thanks to the Revo team for their great hospitality and also to Pragas, Darren, Kathleen, Qing Ling and Jolene for making this trip so memorable. It couldn't have been complete without you all. =)
Most importantly, all glory goes to God for His blessing throughout this conference and giving us a safe trip all the way. God is Everything! =)

I NEED A

BREAK!

I really do need a BREAK! So many things to do with so little time left. Trials coming up in few more weeks. ZLiners Floorball Challenge a few more weeks as well. 3 more of the organizing committee will be leaving to Perth for APAC 2008 so I've got a lot of stuff to finish up all by myself.
I've already given up on some things for now. Sometimes I just wonder why God will put in my this kind of situation. I'm only 18! Then, the word from 1 Timothy 4:12 just flashes in my mind.

"Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for other believers in your speech, behavior, love, faithfulness, and purity".

How?

When?
Why?

These are all the questions that have been running in my mind for the past few days. I am still waiting for God to reveal His purpose for me. Had many talks with a few leaders for the past few days and all the talking really ministers to me.
I remembered Pastor Luis Cabral saying this last Saturday morning.

Pray that information will be revelation
Persevere in praying
Connect with your purpose
Be an influence and make an impact

I am just trying to live with those few words right now. There is nothing I can do but JUST BELIEVE! And KEEP BELIEVING!
I will be going down to Kuala Lumpur for the Revolution Conference this weekend so that will be my break. Hopefully God will speak to me through this conference.

It's finally coming to the end of my study break for me. Everything passed by so fast this week but it was all worthwhile. I could say that this is one of the most productive break I've had this year. Volunteered at the One Life Revolution for the past 3 days at Gurney. Never thought I could have make it cause I didn't know that I was having study break until like a few weeks before it. It could have been during the school holidays but it happens to be on MY break. God just does thing in His creative ways. ;)
From my point of view, the exhibition was successfully held. We almost reached a number of 1000 visitors each day and we finally reached it during our last day of the exhibition. You should have seen the cue at the check-in counter. It was so longgg! And not to mention, there was actually two lines meeting at the counter. Yep, it was LONGGG! Too bad I don't have any pictures to prove it.

I was doing ushering for the 3 days there. Did helped out at the check-out counter as well but I just can't stand at one place and do my job the whole time. So, usher was the best thing I can do. Walking and talking was just the right stuff for me. Does it every week during church service so it was nothing new to me. First rule of being an usher is to SMILE =)
Second thing must tell them the exhibition is FREE. Yep, welcome to Malaysia! Hah.
Being an usher gives me the privilege of inviting passerby for the exhibition. I met many people during my ushering job and God just showed me that there are so many kinds of people in this world. I've met a few people which are really rude but I can still manage to handle it. My youth leaders used to say to me, "If you can't handle a small thing, how are you going to handle even bigger things"?
Met this one guy that told me that people who are infected with HIV and AIDS should just die. He didn't want to go in for the exhibition but he did gave donation which will definitely help to change a person's life. There's another guy which I call the living Satan. He told me that he will never have the guts to look for prostitutes again if he enter the exhibition. He claims to be a living Satan and he said he won't go in and see Jesus stuff. At least he got one point correct, Jesus stuff. It just open up my eyes that even a living Satan knows that this exhibition is Jesus stuff and it belongs to God. Even a Satan knows that our God's name is lifted up high. That is why Satan always try to bring us down. Or I would prefer to call it, Bring Da House Down! This is actually the name of an award during the MTV Asia Awards recently in Malaysia. Da House is actually the church if it is being used in my term.

Although there are many living Satan out there, it still didn't stop me from inviting even more people for this exhibition. I have to admit it was tiring but the one thing that satisfies me is when they come out from the exhibition with that look in their face. I certainly know that a revolution has already taken place in their hearts. After all, this is what the exhibition is all about. Some even came and thanked me and giving good comments about the exhibition. I will never forget this Malay guy that came out and tell me that we should do more exhibition like this for them because it was amazing. I could just see that he meant everything he said to me. That was the thing that keeps the passion in me burning for the whole day. Of course, my legs are burning as well but it was definitely all worth it. I was just asking God for His strength to be with me the whole time and it was there with me. =)

I've met many new and old friends during the past 3 days of the exhibition. It was one exhibition that I would never forget in my life and hopefully God will open up more ways in my life for me. I am still pondering about it and I believe He will show me the way one day. =)
Currently looking forward for the Revolution Conference in KL next week. We will be staying in Summit Hotel which is the same place where the conference will be taking place so it is going to be great!
Anyway I don't know what's wrong with me but I'm addicted to "Nine In The Afternoon" by Panic At The Disco and the white coffee(gao) at Old Town.My sweetest drug! =D

Rough week. Last 2 weeks, sprained my ankle. Last week, burned my hand. Hah. Went back to 8GTS ASSTC to help my juniors. They don't know how to start fire so I helped them and then I get burned for no reason. Scouts nowadays USELESS. Didn't saw the amber on the ground. It's the same colour. LOL. Now it's even tougher for me to play floorball. Can't run and can't hold stick. Retarded! The left part of my body all injured already. God does really know when I need a break. =)

Many exciting and bad stuff happened to me for the past week. But I just want to continue to trust God. I believe that He's preparing me for everything. It's part of the journey and nothing comes easy. One thing that really spoke to me this week is that God never forsakes us. His words says that and I believe that will all my heart. Sometimes, we just give up on God during tough times but He's still there for us. He will never give up on us because He never forsakes us. Always remember that God knows what is best for us and even there are times that you just can't take it anymore, just continue to have faith and trust in Him.
"If we know how, then we do not need God. It is because we do not know how, that is why we need God".

Having one week break starting from Monday. I don't really consider it a break cause I am still busy with lots of stuff. Volunteering for the One Life Revolution from Tuesday until Thursday. It's great stuff so do not miss it! Life changing. Trust me on that! ;)
Well, finally I'm free on one Saturday night for this year. This is the only Saturday night I'm having a break in this whole year. No SNL this coming Saturday cause we will all attend Sunday service to celebrate our church 11th anniversary. It's good to get some rest but I really can't figure out what to do on that Saturday night. Crap la, I got no life. Hah.
Looking forward for the Revolution Conference in KL. It is just two weeks away and I've already got some company to go with. I believe a great revolution is going to take place during that conference and it's going to make an impact in this nation. It's time to P.A.R.T.Y! Preaching And Revolutionizing Through Youths or Preaching About Revival To Youths. Pick your choice. =)

It's origanally written by Mike Guglielmucci of Planetshakers but it's in this album. He have been fighting against cancer for the past two years and with the aid of an oxygen tank he went on stage to sing this song. He is indeed a great testimony for all of us. One Life Revolution

One Life Revolution. Another revolution event taking place again. The only difference is it is not a concert this time and it is not organized by the Revolution Team. One Life Revolution is in fact organized by World Vision Malaysia. It is an interactive experience that lets people to "walk in the shoes" of others who have suffered the plight of social injustice. The life-size exhibition gives people the opportunity to have a direct encounter of someone else's life as they struggle to cope with HIV/AIDS and living in harsh conditions prone to child trafficking. It will be featuring three Asian life-threads or stories covering issues of child trafficking and HIV/AIDS. You will be listening to a MP3 provided when you are walking through the exhibition which will enable you to listen to the true stories that once took place. The scene of the exhibition is also made just like the actual scene that took place in Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia. Here's a tip. Try to get the Cambodia story because it is creepy and what you are about to see is shocking. Not recommended for those with faint-hearted.

Life With Purpose

Living a life with a purpose. Some of us think life is all about success, wealth and any other thing that comes to your mind. I still remember this video advertisement that I saw during service a few weeks ago. It was about a few old ladies sitting around a table and sharing about their kids success. All of them were so proud about their kids achievement and then it came to one of the lady's turn. She was rather quiet and just says that her son is doing well unlike the others that boast about their kids salary. There was one particular lady that said that her son makes 40,000 a month. And it was in US dollars. Hah. I can remember the expression on all the other old lady faces when they heard that. Deep in them, they were jealous about this particular lady's son making so much and their kids otherwise. At the end of the video, the lady that spoke quietly got a phone call from her son and her son came and visited her. At that time, the other ladies are just looking and feeling jealous as well because they don't have their kids to visit them. Sometimes, it's more than making money and being successful.

Are we living with a purpose in our life? If all of you think that money is the most important thing in the world, I challenge you to reconsider about it. Yep, money can buy us anything we want in this world. You can pay for all your needs and desires. But you can't never pay for what Jesus did for us. He died on the cross for us and he pay the price for our sins. Can you do that with money? Only love can buy that. In John 3:16, it says that "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". Nobody else could have ever done that for us except for Jesus. He is the reason we are living today and we are free from our sins.

So what are we living for in this world? If Jesus is the reason why we are living in this world, then we should live for Him. I saw this sentence in a bookshop and it says, "God greatest gift to us is our life, and our greatest gift to Him is how we live our life". I find this sentence so true. Some of us call ourselves Christian but more importantly, are we living a life for Him? These days, I see many teenagers around me that wears a big cross wherever they go. Do they know what that cross means or it's just something cool to them. We as Christians, we know the meaning of wearing the cross. Some of us never even wear a cross. It doesn't matter if we are wearing a cross and people can see it. That doesn't make us holy or anything. It's about wearing a cross deep in your heart. You know the meaning of living your life for Him. That's more important than anything else.

So are you living your life for Him right now? Take a moment to think about it. It's not just about attending church weekly wearing a smart attire and be blessed by the word. I believe everybody that goes to church with an open heart will be blessed. Romans 10:17, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God". When you go in obedience and faith, you will receive the blessing. I'm a student myself and I've been to lots of tuition during my schooling days. Most of the time, you will see my bringing a lot of books and I never talk during classes. But my mind is actually wandering somewhere else. It's not about the outlook, but it's the inner look.
It could be in work, school or any area of our life. Are we living a life for Him? Even the smallest thing we do, it could make an impact and we may never realize it. The easiest thing to do is just to smile and to be joyful every time. I have friends that are miserable and they seem to be sad most of the time. They will always ask me, "Why are you always happy"? We all know the answer. It's because we have a God that is awesome.

God is just so GREAT. He is the one that will always lift us up when we are facing troubles in our life. Our family and friends might give up on us but God never gives up on us. He knows that you still have a purpose to live for and it is for Him. For those of my friends that knows me before I came to accept Jesus into my life, I was really bad during those days. I've smoked, clubbed, and done it all. But God still never gave up on me and He brought me to come and know Him. It was because of God, I'm having a better life right now. Without Him, I wonder where would I be right now. Always remember that God will never give up on you because you are so precious to Him. Live a life for Him because Jesus had gave His life for us. It's not about being successful and rich. You can't never bring your success and money to heaven. At the end of the day, it all comes back to Him.

Finally, I'm out with an injury for one month. Been busy for the past few weeks with lots of stuff and then just at the right time on last Sunday night, I sprained my ankle during floorball training. God really knows when I need a break. Hah. So, I won't be playing for at least one month which is gonna kill me so badly. Currently having a metal plate to support my sprained ankle. I used to spend 4 days of my week having floorball training but now it's the whole week without training. But I will still try to get back on the court as soon as possible as APAC is just around the corner. It's at Perth end of next month and I'm still thinking hard about it. Might be going, might not. Well, the expenses are high so have to figure out a way.
Anyway, I'm selling off my "high-end" Fatpipe stick away cause I don't used it often. To the new owner, do continue on the legacy of the stick. It's either Fatpipe or Die! FAT-O-PIPE! =D

That's my bad news but here's a good news. Carmen called me up the other day and she said that she's gonna send in my testimony for her school magazine. If they approve it, it's gonna be featured in the school magazine and everybody is gonna read my testimony. That's pretty scary but I hope that many people will come and know God through my testimony. He always do things in His special way and I really thank God for this opportunity. Perhaps a revolution can take place in her school aite. =)

Well, trials are coming up soon! Just one month and one week to go. Gonna stop attending my A2 classes from next week onwards and I'll just focus on my AS classes. It's time to stop watching Russel Peters comedy. Revolution is taking place so I must start studying as well. That's part of my revolution too. Hah.

It's Time To Change

Just came back from Revo Party about half an hour ago. It was GREAT! God has been with us for the past two days of the event and it was just amazing. You could just ask anyone who went for it and they will tell you it was great. Yep, it was a real blessing for everybody that came. The presence of God was just so amazing. Big shout out to the Revo team for coming all the way down to Penang just to bless us. There were almost 40 amazing people that came down for this tour. I believe with all my heart that a revolution certainly takes place in everyone's heart for the past two days. And it's gonna make an impact everywhere we go. Basically, revolution means change. And this group of people believed that it's time for a revolution to take place in our nation.

The Revo worship team did an amazing job during the worship session. We didn't sing any songs from Planetshakers or Hillsong United during these past two days. On the other hand, we sang all the songs that were written by the Revo team themselves. Our own local worship song. And it was really amazing.They are also coming up with their own album called the ACTSPERIMENT. Great success!
Just couldn't explain my feeling right now. Really thank God for the salvation that took place during the two services. I was overjoyed to see one of my friends giving his heart to God on that night. It has really been great all this while and God is bringing more of my friends into His kingdom. Even for myself, a revolution is taking place in me and I believed that it's gonna be great. It's time to change! =)

Ztec vs Fronliners. Yep, the derby match between both clubs. This time, I was able to send in a second team and they did pretty well winning their match against Frontliners Trojans 3-0. So proud and all of them and all of them rock! We played our senior team match after the juniors game and it was a much more tougher match. Wasn't playing in my comfortable position which is centre cause I took up defense with Jeremy. And I was suffering with my "ass-string" injury. We did well but it wasn't good enough to win the match. With just few minutes left before the end of the match, the Spartans came back to draw the game level. Well, the score line ended 6-6 for that match. Was rather disappointed but there's always win and lose in a game. And this time we drew with them.

Started my first part-time job on Monday. Apparently Jeremy, Nicholas and Oliver was talking about looking for a replacement for Jeremy during training. Found out that the salary is RM70 per day. That's good for a part-time job. And there's free buffet lunch and dinner. Hah. So of course I will go la. Make some arrangements with them and last minute Oliver couldn't make it so I asked Bern about it and she agree to take over for him. It was actually a team-building activity for DiGi Headquarters in KL. They came all the way down to Pulau Jerejak as it was sponsored fully by DiGi. Well, went to Pulau Jerejak on Monday morning with Nicholas, Bern and Aaron.

My job was quite easy. Just taking care of a station game and making sure everyone does it. Used to doing that during my scouting days so it wasn't a problem. The only difference is I can't scold them cause my boss said that we just want them to have fun and enjoy. So unlike scout where there's fun and suffering as well. Lol. Wrapped up everything around 5pm and stayed until 7pm for the free buffet dinner. That's my favourite part of the whole job. Hah. Well, I'm going there a few more times again just to earn some extra cash. Saving for maybe APAC 2009 in Korea. That's if I get selected into the national team. But just for the sake of it, must save first la. =)

Anyway, Revolution Conference is this coming Saturday night @ EPCC starting at 7.30pm. So it you are free, just head down to EPCC as it's gonna be GREAT. Travelled a lot this week. Petrol almost went empty after having a full tank in the beginning of the week. Watched a lot of movies as well this week. It has been quite a while since I watched so many movies in a week. It's actually only three but I haven't been watching movies since a few weeks back and it was pretty awkward. Lol. Watched Kungfu Panda over at Yimin's crib and Shutter & 21 over at Wei Jin's crib this week. Got summoned for not remembering to pay for my parking at Midlands when was buying dvd. Came out 5 minutes later and there it was, the extra big ticket on my windshield. All Bern's fault for not reminding me. =D

Saturday was Family Day and it was at Penang Water Sports Centre this year. Well, it was my baptism day as well. Thinking about it was scary cause I have to give a testimony in front of my entire church members. Yep, ALL the church members were there comprising of English, BM, Vietnamese and Nepalese service. There were around 600-700 pairs of eyes looking at me. That includes those who were wearing glasses. Everything went well and the weather was good. I'm the only idiot wearing sunglasses the whole time. Hah. Played captain ball for my team and we won 2 out of our 3 games. Not bad for a team with 4 girls and 4 guys. And not forgetting, we were suppose to play with only one leg. Yep, handicapped game. Hah.

Looking forward for the upcoming friendly against Frontliners again this coming Sunday at Dalat. Well, it's from 5.00pm to 9.00pm so feel free to come. It's 4 hours as there will be two matches on that evening. First team and second team are playing so it's gonna be great! =)

My Story So Far

15th September 2007. A day that had changed my entire life. It was my year of salvation. Saying those prayers on that night was pretty scary for me as I know that everything will be different from that day on. But it's one decision that I will never regret in my entire life. That one night had brought so much difference in my life until now and I'm still living with it. I really thank God for those people that were supporting me and giving me the courage on that night especially to Pragas and Ter Min. They are the one that brought me to Him.

I just knew that something was working in me when I started to attend church at the end of July 2007. Somehow, it's a different feeling and I can feel a strong presence that just provides peace into my heart every time I'm at my church youth's service which is called Saturday Night Live. Not only during my church service but also in my life as well. Long before I knew Jesus in my life, I was just like any other teenagers in my school. Having all the bad habits that any other teenagers would have. I still remember smoking for the very first time. I was only 15 that time. During those days, I used to think that smoking is something cool and girls will like it. Most of the people that I hang around with those days smoke occasionally and I was one of them as well.

Soon, it was clubbing at the age of 16. And I remember spending almost every Saturday night there with my friends. We even have to share to open a bottle of whiskey in order to get into the club. It was RM250 per bottle during those days and we split it among 5 of us. Getting tipsy and dancing in dance floor was just fun and it soon became an addiction. I used to lie to my parents saying that I'm staying overnight at my friend's house to finish up our scout project. We will end up partying all night long in clubs and getting hung over the next day. And my parents would pick me up from my friend's house the next day asking me if I didn't sleep the whole night. I would reply, "Yup got a lot of scouts stuff to do what". Deep inside me, I feel bad for lying to them but I just can't help it. Clubbing was my sweetest drug that time. I've done everything bad that you could ever think of except for drugs and killing. Yep, everything! The amazing part is that even before I knew God, He was already protecting my life and forgiving all my sins.

2007 came and it was SPM year for me. It was an important year for me and I stopped going to clubs eventually but there are still times like during birthday parties or any special event at clubs which I would attend. I was into floorball that time which was a sport introduced to me by Ter Min and it soon became my passion after that. I actually went for floorball training on every Saturday night instead of going to clubs. Somehow, I'm just sick of going to clubs when I started playing floorball. 19th April 2007 came and it was the Youthwave Floorball Tournament. My team managed to bring home the bronze medal and the prize giving ceremony was the next day at Georgetown Baptist Church. My first intention of going to the church the next day was to claim my bronze medal and it was my first time stepping into the church. I still remember Pastor Steve speaking on that night and it just somehow minister to me in so many areas of my life. I was touched by God’s word on that night and since that night I was curious and wanted to know more about God.

Well, I come from a Buddhist family and I'm not a religious person. So it was pretty weird for me wanting to attend church and I attended Saturday Night Live at the end of July 2007. Since SNL was on a Saturday night, I stopped going to clubs anymore although my friends still invite me and I told them I'm going to church. Hah I still remember a few of them not believing me and they laughed at me. But it still didn't stop me from attending every SNL. I will just be so excited to know more about God even before the service starts. It was a feeling that I've never experienced all this while before.

Then the day came. 15th September 2007. I accepted Jesus into my life and everything started to change after that. It's like having someone behind me in everything I do and I knew it was God. My parents don't really object me from attending service but they do remind me not to become a Christian that time. After I became a Christian, they started to see the changes in me and I didn't even tell them I've accepted Jesus into my life until this day. They figure it out themselves as they can see that I've changed into a different person. It was just awesome how God open up ways in my life. Honestly speaking before I knew Jesus, I used to think that there is no such thing as God and I just wanted to enjoy my life. I never have any faith towards God that time but I began to see miracles happen when there's God in my life. I've been really blessed since I've accepted Jesus into my life.

I started attending cell-group which is basically a group of people that meet up on every Friday night to learn and grow spiritually in God. I really learned a lot and I would like to thank my cell-group leader, Nicky for guiding me since that day on until now. He's the one that haven't given up on me when I've already given up on myself. Thanks!
Then, SPM came and I managed to get good grades for it. All glory goes to God as He's the one that has been providing me the wisdom. I remembered Pastor Sam once said, "Knowledge is nothing without wisdom". My walk with God has been good until I started to get busy when my college started. I don't spend much time with Him everyday and my faith began to fade away. This goes on for a few months and I just can't find my connection with God anymore. During that period, I was feeling so weak and my life was just miserable. Just on the right time, Pastor Sam spoke about personal revival during SNL and it just woke me up. I started to gain back a revival in Him and picking up on things.

Youth Camp came in Jun 2008 and it was a real blessing to me. There was one night when Pastor Sam was praying for me, he told me, "Son, God has not forgotten you at all". I knew straight away it was God speaking to me and on that night, I just surrender everything to Him. Throughout the camp, I was really blessed and I just felt the strong presence of God in me again. It was such a joyful moment and I came back to Penang with a new faith in my heart. It's just great to see that God is always faithful to us no matter who we are or any mistakes that we make. He still forgives us and treats us like His children. And He forgives me for who I am even before I knew Him. Since I’ve came back to Penang, I've been living an entirely life for Him. Even until now, I'm still learning to be more Christ-like and still growing in God everyday. It's not easy but I know that God is with me wherever I go.

So many things happened to me in the past 10 months since I've accepted Jesus into my life. I’ve already taken my relationship with God to the next level by getting baptized in early July 2008. I believe that the time has come for me to take that step of faith. So how's my life right now? Well, I'm 18 now and I’ve stopped smoking and going to clubs anymore since that day. Seriously speaking, I would never trade the life I’m living now for anything else in the world. My life for the past 16 years was messed up and I really thank God for bringing me to Him at this young age. Who knows where I would end up today if I were still the same person I used to become. I definitely know it’s not going to end up anything better than what I have now. It’s only into my first year of salvation and everything has been amazing. I’ve seen many great things through God in my life. I believe it’s going to even much better in the years to come. If it wasn’t for God, I would have been someone worst but thanks to God, I was someone better today.

Currently, I'm serving in the usher ministry and managing a floorball club under my church. And in the next few months, me and my partner will be starting a floorball school for kids. I'm really blessed and I just thank God for everything in my life. It has been great and I just appreciate everything I have now. I know that there's no point complaining because He knows what's best for me. "God takes responsibility for all of our lacks". I know there are still many more great things to come and I'm not perfect because only God is perfect. "God's greatest gift to us is our life and our greatest give to God is how we live our life". And I’m living my life for Him right now because he paid the price for my sins. God showed me that I’m meant to live for so much more besides studying and teaching floorball. It’s living a life for Him and doing His mighty works. I'm still learning everyday and growing with God. "If we know how, then we don't need God. It's because we don't know how ,that's why we need God". That's why I need God in my life and I know I’m nothing without Him in my life.The next thing on my list is attending SYM in 2010. YAY! Well, hopefully everything will go well. ;D

It has been a heck of a week. Finally, I got the greatest news I've ever received. Thank God for that. The whole heaven is rejoicing! =)
So, had floorball training as usual again on Sunday night. Attendance was good and everything was okay. Too bad, state training was cancelled on Tuesday night so it was pretty boring. Went to gym in the evening and then went to check out the band that will be performing during my brother's wedding dinner. The band performed a few songs for us and it was good. And yep, we got the so-called "Elvis" of Penang to lead the band. He had a great voice and some great dance moves as well. Hah. So, I'm definitely expecting a great performance from them throughout that night and hopefully the guest will enjoy it.

The next day,we went for my brother and his wife to-be photo shooting session. Everything went pretty well and I followed them the whole day shooting photos as well. But of course, it wasn't as good compared to their photographer who can really take great shots. I just blame the camera for that. His camera is so high-end compared to mine. Mine was just higher-end. ;)
But I did snap a couple of pictures which I consider it almost as good as their photographer's picture. ;) Here's one.

Friday came and it was back to classes at college as usual again. It was then floorball training again but this time with the big guys. The St.Christopher kids did make it for the training as well and it's really good to see them there. After all, they will be leaving for holidays and will only be returning in August. Learned Korean from Alex Park again. He was teaching me left which is "des-tu" and right is "o-ron-ju".I think that's left and right. Couldn't really remember it. Hah. Wasn't having a good time in training also as I was a little off that day. Anyway, everything was better after Jeremy's talk. Thanks man! =) Well, then it was CG later on that night and had a great time over there.

Saturday! Yep it was training again today and it's 3 hours of training this time. Everything was okay and we had a pretty good training.
Thumbs up to Bernice for finally deciding to join our training. I bet Yimin is really glad now as there's another girl and she can bully her from now on. Hah.
Went for lunch with Carmen after so long not seeing her. Everything was the same except the hair which was indeed a little "special". =D
Had SNL later that night and it was great! One soul was saved. Amen!
It was a fun week and I'm looking forward getting baptized during Family Day this coming Saturday. Hopefully everything will go well. =)

Anyways, it's a pretty nice song done by our local artistes and well done to them. I've been searching all around the web for the chords but couldn't find it anywhere so I did arrangement of the chords with my guitar. This is basically what I came out with. The Last Episode

Finally,the Germans have made it to the finals of Euro 2008. The winning goal came just in the 90th minute from Phillip Lahm and it was just enough for them to make it to the finals. Creating the second goal for the Germans and scoring the winner himself, he was definitely the man of the match. Not to mention, he's my favourite player in the squad and he's the reason I'm wearing the number 16 on the back of my floorball jersey. Yep, most of you guys think it's Carrick but I was inspired by Lahm first. He's always the shortest in the field he's the best at what he does. Anyways,the Germans are meeting the Spaniards. It's gonna to be a helluva match as both team had came a long way to made it to the finals.

I'm supporting Germany all the way but my bets are on the Spaniards to win the match. I know it sounds weird coming out from a German fan betting that the Spaniards are winning. But the good thing is I don't bet on football matches anymore. So, it does not make any difference to me. Germany have a strong squad except for their number "one" goalkeeper, Jens Lehmann. Yep, send him back to Germany and bring back Oliver Kahn. With Lehmann in their starting line-up, it's gonna be hard for the Germans as he always does stupid mistakes during the match. On the other side of the field, Iker Cassilas stands at the line and does his job perfectly well. To me, this might be the title decider for this match.

Get it why I'm saying Germans are gonna lose? Look at this guy during training.

And how he perform in training session. Full body stretch that you can't even see his right leg.

Well, my bets are still on the Spaniards as Jens Lehmann is guarding the goal line for the Germans goal post. Still, my full support is to the Germans and I hope that they will play better on that match against Spain. The players to look out for during the match for Germany will be 7.Bastian Schweinsteiger. He has been performing consistently in every match so far and his speed will definitely make it hard the defenders. For Spain, it would be 10.Cesc Fabregas as he had played a big role in bringing them into the semi-finals and the finals as well. His name is certain to be on the starting line-up as David Villa is out due to injury. Fab will be the most fearful player on the field as he creates chances for his teammates and he can score from any angle as well. My predictions for the result is 1-2 to Spain. The Germans would have to bucked up if they want to have a chance to clinch the trophy on that night. Well as the saying goes, the ball is round and anything can happen. Just sit back and enjoy the match. ;)

Kids are just so active and cheeky all the time.Noisy.Irritating.So many words to describe them.But these kids are so much more than that.Yup they are the kids which me and my friends have been coaching for the past one month.Have a great team of Ter Min,Jo-Wyee and Samuel to work together to train these kids.We've come up with a floorball programme with St.Christopher International School and these are the bunch of kids that we will be coaching every single Friday for 8 weeks.First few times going there and meeting them was fun.They were all so full of energy and so *damn cute* running around everywhere!It just makes me feel like a kid again hanging around with them.But I've got to face the fact that I'm getting older each day.Oh crap! ;)

Most of them are Koreans and we do have an Italian and some from Taiwan.There is also a local boy as well which is talented considering his age and experience.We definitely look forward to train him up to be a great floorball player in the future.

Soon,we began to know them well and we even send them for a floorball tournament.I was pretty confident with all of them that they are going to win something and of course they did it!2 out of the 4 teams that we send in won 1st and 3rd placing.Amazing right?And it's their first tournament without much experience.We are just so extremely proud of them!They have been improving every week and there is just few more weeks to go before our programme ends.Half of them are already heading back to their home country after this and some of them are still living here.Still,it has been a great experience for us and these kids are just amazing.It's great to see what young kids can do nowadays.And oh yeah,this is an amazing fact.I think international school students have a higher IQ than local school students.hah.I've been to both of that kind of school to teach floorball and this is so true!Believe it!But that doesn't mean I have a low IQ though. =D

3G:Grow,Glow and Go

Finallyyyyyyyy.I'm back from Langkawi.Wish I'm still there.This year,the theme is 3G: Grow,Glow and Go.It has been one of the best camp I've been so far.This camp is so different from the others that I've been.The camps that I used to attend during my school days were tough and challenging.We couldn't get to sleep for a few nights and we were like slave working all the time.lol.This camp was totally the opposite of all my scout camps.It was fun and I'm really glad I attend the camp.I was really blessed during the 4 days there and I can just feel the strong presence of God throughout the camp.I was the group leader for Paul and it was nerve wrecking as it was my first time leading a bunch of my fellow church people.I was so used to scolding my scout juniors in the old days and I know I can't never do that this time.So everything was new to me and my assistant was also attending this camp for the first time as well.But we managed to pulled it out and even won the 1st placing among the other 5 groups.Great success!Didn't expect to win it because we didn't get much points during the first and second day of the camp.But thank God for everything and we still manage to come back and win it.=)

Learned a lot during this camp and Pr.Andy message was really good.I'm sure that everyone was touched by it and it's really a life changing camp for all the campers.Even for myself as well,I came back here with a new vision and I'm living a different life as well.All the worries I used to is gone and everything is even better than before.Everything in Langkawi was great except the food but I still managed to handle it.Penang's food is still the best food around!Before I attended this camp,I wasn't so close to my church people but we've known each other quite well during the camp and now we can click easily.Make a lot of new friends as well during the camp.I've never even seen some of them in church before but they are all great people except for a few.lol.

So,this camp has really taught me a lot about my life with God and it has make a big impact in my life.I'm missing the good times in camp but everything must come to an end.We have a happy ending.lol.Certainly can't wait for the next youth camp!Very nice! ;)

One month plus since my last post.LOL.Was pretty busy with lots of stuff in this past one month.First there was the AS exam but it's not that important to me as my I will be only taking my real AS exam at the end of this year.So no worries.Phew ;)
Only went to sit for the Chemistry Practical paper and it was so damn @#$%*!!12 titration will make you go mad as well.LOL.But once again,it doesn't matter that much to me anymore since my exam will be at the end of the year.Considering of dropping Chemistry now as this @#$%* subject won't do any good to me.So,I will probably be taking Econs or Businees Studies.Still in consideration.Hmmm.
Got many new things in this past month which really caused me to declare myself "bankrupt" for now.LOL.Bought a new Nike court shoes and a new FatPipe floorball stick.It was all in a sudden and I just got it without thinking about it.Still,it's a great stick especially for hard slap shots.The sound that it makes when the shot is taken is great success!And it is an airhook blade as well.So I've finally got an airhook stick in my collection.And I'm happy that me and Jo-Wyee are the two of the three people using that stick and we are the youngest!Very nice!=)
Was having a friendly match with NTU from Singapore just two days ago.First time playing in defense with Chris which is a solid defender himself.So it was great playing with him and the Singaporeans as well.Good experience although we lost 2-1.Currently looking forward for my church youth camp coming up next week in Langkawi.Finally after so many years I haven't been to Langkawi.Hopefully it's going to be a great time over there and I will experience His presence with me.Can't wait for it!=)

Boring boring boring week!Nothing much has been happening since last week.Plain and really boring week.Can't even really concentrate on my studies already.Guess it's because I'm not that stress anymore since my exam is at the end of the year.Last week,my dear friend Carmen was admitted in hospital.Kena some weird bacteria that was making her sick.Thank God she is okay after staying there for 5 days.Visited her most of the time as I know she was bored there and I'm also very bored.So,I go and kacau her most of the time and hospital is actually quite fun.It's almost like a hotel but the only difference is it's less than 5 star and there's many sick people there.haha.Almost did prison break there but in the end didn't do it.It would be fun if I can break someone out from hospital but worry later they got tag her with some security thing and it will ring the alarm if she's out from hospital.Is there actually such thing?lol.

Was finally back in church after so long.It was movie night on service the other night and we watched Facing The Giants which was actually very nice!Learned a lot of things from that movie and everyone was blessed by it.It was also non-stop floorball action during the weekends.Had 2 training and 1 friendly match to prepare ourselves for this Saturday Youthwave tournament.Really hoping to get another silverware but this time hopefully it's going to be gold.Feeling really confident with my team and we just need to step up to play our best on that day.

Still 5 more days to go before I return to college.Can't wait for it and I'd rather be in college than at home because I'm just wasting my time here.lol.All the best to all my fellow Ztec members in this Youthwave tournament!=)

And sometimes we bury our regret by promising to change our ways.
But our biggest regret are not for the things we did but are for the things that we didn't do.
Things we didn't say that could have save someone we care about.
Especially when we can see the dark storm standing inside their way.

It has been almost 2 weeks since I updated on anything.2 weeks and many things happened.Recently just changed my A-Levels programme to 18months.I realized that I couldn't probably make it for the AS exam next month.There is just so many things to study and I'm busy with plenty of stuff.Glad that I'm having 1 week of college break and another week of break cause I won't be sitting for the trials exam.Not even ready for it yet.At least now I have more space to breathe as Penang League is over and I can start concentrating on other things now.Ztec 8cers have already sealed the second place and will be promoted to Division One next year.I certainly was hoping to get the first placing but this is fine with me as well.We'll just train harder and play hard next season.Hopefully I will still be there next season.It has been a really tough time managing this club as there are many "superstar" in my team.I guess it's more like Chelsea.LOL.But I learned a lot of new things in the past one and a half months and it was certainly a great experience for me.

I've got 2 weeks of break and I don't know what to do.It's so boring at home and I'm still looking for something to do.Probably will spend few of my days at the library studying for AS.Everything is so hectic now and I'm still looking to bounce back and being myself again.
And I'm still on my mission in looking for Crusoe,the water horse.haha.Hopefully I will find it one day which I'm quite sure it's in the fountain at Dalat.LOL.Anyway,today I will be taking a rest and just watch some movies at home.There's still 10,000 BC and Rambo IV dvd that I haven't watch yet.This will make my day.Very nice!=)

My trip to Sabah

Didn't updated my blog for the past one week already.Was busy as I was away in Sabah and just came back today.Anyway back to floorball again,we lost to Dalat 6-5 and they earn the champions title.They even trashed Bullets 16-0 on Sunday night which took Drew to lead the point board with 22 points.The second leader in the board was with only 7 points.That's so much difference.So you can probably figure out how many goals he scored that night.We will be facing Bullets tomorrow and hopefully we will give them a beating as well.

I was away in Sabah since Wednesday for a holiday trip.First day was nothing much and we just went for seafood in Kota Kinabalu.It's still the best and cheapest seafood you can get in Malaysia.Ordered butter prawns which was a superb dish.Just smelling it will make you want more of it already.Second day,I went to the tip of Borneo which was situated somewhere in Kudat.It was a three and a half hours ride from town and the journey was not pleasant.The condition of the roads leading to Kudat was in bad shape and riding in it is worst than riding on a back of a donkey.Soon when I reach the tip of Borneo,all the bad feelings were gone because it was a really nice place there.The view was once again superb.I will probably used this word a few times in this post.LOL.It was really the tip of Borneo and there lies nothing further ahead of that except for Phillipines I guess.It was worth the three and a half hour ride there.After that,head back to our apartment in Melinsung Beach.Drop by in an area called Libas(I think) for western food which is quoted the best one in Kota Kinabalu.Ordered lamb chop and potato salad.Superb again!I already used it thrice now.LOL.

Third day there,went to Pulau Tiga which was the first venue for the game series Survivor.It is also nicknamed the Survivor Island after the game show.It was a nice and relaxing place but too bad there were not much corals as I expected.However,the water was crystal clear and I can see the bottom of it clearly.The same thing happened in Sapi Island when I was in Sabah last year.Probably should really get my diving license soon if not I wouldn't be able to see anything special in Sabah.Hope to get it soon and then head to Sipadan Island someday in the future.Took a lot of nice photographs in Pulau Tiga and most of it was macro shot.Met some fun Hongkie's people over there but too bad I can't speak Cantonese with them.Was trying to book for a night stay over at the island but it's already over-booked.Couldn't get a place so went back to Melinsung Beach for the night.Next day,went all the way to Poring Hot Spring which is very far away from town.Nearly 3 hours away I think.Most of the nice places in Sabah are all far away.The time zone in Sabah was a little bit out as well.Not really a little bit but alot.Like one and a half hour.Just at 6.15pm,the sky is already like 7.30pm time in Penang.And by the time it is 7.00pm in Sabah,the sky turns dark.It was really weird and it makes me sleepy even before I have my dinner.Anyway,I met up with Leonard from Nomad Floorball Club on that day and attended their training.It was not bad and they were all still learning and keen to improve.I'm happy to see the sport growing in East Malaysia and hopefully there will be more teams over there in the future.Went for supper and ordered tuaran mee.Something you can't never get in Penang as it was only in Sabah.I wouldn't use the word superb this time as the mee was just ok la.After that,Leonard together with Shawn which is their president fetch me back to Melinsung Beach from Damai.That is like from Butterworth to Batu Ferringhi.I was really thankful for that ride as they were having church service early in the morning the next day and I reached back my place at midnight.

Fifth day there,I went to Shawn and Leonard's church which is called d'Stream Anglican Church for the Easter Service myself more.Went for lunch together with them after that and then .I was really looking around for a service to attend and thank God I managed to attend to their service.It was a good one and the message definitely challengefloorball training again.This time,there were not that much people as the previous training and it was better I think.Did some drills with them and then played a game with them.Shawn also insisted that I played forward which wasn't certainly my comfortable zone as I am a defender.Nevertheless,I gave it a try and it was not bad.Managed to score a consolation goal as well which was my only present from Sabah.=) After the training,went for a drink at a coffee shop and then thanked them for everything.Shawn fetched me to City Mall after that and I went back to Libas for a dinner again but it was not western food again.Went back to pack all my things after that and straight away went to bed.Woke up 3 in the morning and left Melinsung Beach at 4am.Gwen Stefani's song 4 in the morning just runs through my head the whole time.LOL.My flight was at 7.00am and went to the airport early to check in everything.And then guess who I met in the same flight with me.It was Sheryn and Serene.The creator of my nickname ginger bread man.Wai Wai was also there as well.They were all on their church's mission trip and they were in Sabah for 2 weeks already.That's really fun and I can see that all of them were really tired.Slept,eat and played PSP during the flight and without realizing the time,I reached Penang.Met them again when I'm going back and then Serene asked me if I know what's the first thing in her mind when she saw me.I thought it was ginger bread man and then she sang me the McDonalds song.Bubur ayam...bubur ayam McD...I was like wow speechless.She is really creative. -.-

The trip to Sabah this year has been a good one.I have met a lot of new friends over there especially the guys from Nomad Floorball Club.Hope to meet them again soon and played a game against them as well.Ztec vs Nomads.That would be nice.Reached Penang safely and everything went well during this trip.Thank God for His blessing during the entire trip.=)

What a week!Anyway updates on my floorball league.We lost to Dalat Eagles 4-3 which we should have won.It's just that there is some problem with the teamwork and Dalat players are definitely smart when they challenge us mentally.The whole team was a FLOP in that game and there were so many errors.It was a good show for the audience but it would have been better for me if we would have won that game.But we got our revenge when we met Frontliners Trojans on Tuesday night.We trashed them 12-0 which was a good score.It could have gone more than that if it wasn't for their goalkeeper.We will be facing Dalat Eagles again this coming Tuesday and this is our only chance to get grab of the champions title.If we are to beat them in this upcoming game,then we will draw on points and it would only be the goal difference that seperates us.We also have one game in hand which will be against Trojans again.And if we played as well as we did that day,it could be another 12-0 for us again.So this upcoming game against Dalat will definitely be a one not to be missed.Game of the season you can call it.To me,it's war again and this time we are ready and better than ever.Bring it on,lads!

Got my SPM results this week.Didn't do well in it and was kinda emo on that day.But thanks to my sis and friends which are there for me.BROS OVER HOES!That's our motto.We had a good time on that day although it was suppose to be a sad one but I guess everyone is over it now and they are already moving on.That's a good thing for everybody.=)

Well just came back from floorball training and glad to see a few new faces.Hopefully they will join us for training and they will have the passion for this sport.Will be going to Dalat soon later to referee the match between Dalat Eagles and Contact Bullets.Watch out Dalat!There will probably be a few 2 minutes penalty for your team!LOL.That's all for this week.Hope that everything go well in the upcoming week.=)

Finally,our first league match.Against Contact Bullets which consist of a veteran player,few kids and few girls.LOL.What to expect.Divison Two wad.Anyway,it was my first match in charge and it was not easy managing a team.Usually I'm the player sitting down and listening to the manager but now I'm doing both of it.It was definitely not easy but I learned from my mistake and I hope to do better in the next game this coming Sunday which will be a super tough match for us and I'm still thinking of strategy for this game.Back to the game,we won 4-1 which should have been more than 10 goals and I got my first 2 minutes penalty for this league.Not something to be proud about but shit happens!=)
This week Physics test and Pure Maths test was postponed to next week.But still have Mechanics test this Friday.Doesn't make much difference.And SPM results next Wednesday.Si liao la!Mana eh sai!Dr.Donald always says that.LOL.Not that confident about getting my result but I'll just leave it to God.Whatever happens it's His will for me and I will just live with it.So no worries!=)

Whoa.Busy week again.Having Physics,Pure Maths and Mechanics test next week.3 in 1.Hopefully will do well this time.Anyway,went to library this morning to study and there was nobody there.Finally,it's a real library without those ''bising gang''.Lol.Just revise on all the things that has been taught this week.Physics is crazy because there's so many things to study for it.Dr.Donald didn't even tell us exactly what is the test going to be like.Practically,we have to just study everything that he ''teach'' us.It's more like talking than teaching.Nobody gets what is he teaching about.Must go and dig out some clues from him on Monday about the test.Lol.Now I'm so free and have no idea what to do.Still have 4 more hours before SNL starts.Probably will be watching some funny movie later to release stress.Have a good news!We don't have to prepare the GP presentation anymore.They are just watching Al Gore's movie cause it's exactly same like our presentation.And his movie is much better.
Today's floorball training was cancelled again.HAIH!Our match is on Tuesday night some more.Hopefully everyone is prepared for that game.We are aiming to sweep all 2 points and score a lot of goals to have the goal advantage against Dalat because they are definitely thrashing Trojans tonight.Just hope for a great week ahead and God's blessing in everything.

Learning To Fall

Monday.Chem test.But I was suppose to be at Sabah today for the mission trip.But it was impossible for me to skip college for a week.So I couldn't make it this time.It was sad because it will definately be a great experience.Just hope that the rest of the guys will enjoy their time there.The worst part of the day is I didn't do well in this test.I don't know what's wrong with me but I totally screwed up practically everything.This feeling sucks and I was pms-ing the whole morning.Lol.It was very dissapointing but I just have to work harder for it then.So many things coming around soon.First,there will be Physics and Pure Maths test next week.Penang League is also starting next week and I'm looking forward to it.Hopefully we will do well in this game and have a good scoring streak to build up the confidence of my team.
As usual,Monday was a freaking long day.5 hours of break is really so LONG!Stayed in college with the rest of them and we went to studied in library.Then,suddenly a deck of cards appear in front of everybody and the usual cho tai ti game begin again.I didn't take part in this game as I was still recovering from my bad trauma of Chemistry test.Was just doing my homework but the problem is I can't find the answers.Even the books at the library are not helping either.And Dr.Donald finished the whole topic in just 2 hours.I thought I was the only one who was lost in his class but even the girls sitting in front are also lost.LOL!So that makes me normal and the class just went on with all the students trying to figure out what's happening.Talked about it with Baboo and we decided it's time for us to start depending on our own instead of our teachers.Saturday will be another day at library for us again.
And everybody is suppose to come online now at 9pm to discuss about our GP presentation.So far only 2 turned up and the rest lost somewhere.It's already 9.28pm now.Just want to finish this thing ASAP so that it won't bother me anymore and there's more time to do other things.Alrite will just end it here today.And thank you Carmen for your present!=)

I'm Back!

Finally,I'm back after so long.It has been more than one and a half month since i logged in here.Was really busy with so many things.I finally started college and went for the January intake.Everything is okay so far and just doing my best in it.Seems like everyone in A-Levels says that it is hard so now I'm even more worried and have to study harder.It's not easy and I'm just going through it.I believe that God have a purpose for me and I just trust the Lord in this.

Floorball!This year,I managed to set up a new floorball team in Penang which is called Ztec 8cers.After weeks of planning together with Ter Min,we decided to just go for it.And I was happy to say that we even won 2nd and 3rd placing in the 3 on 3 tournament on January.Both of our team lost to Salibanday and we will get them back in the future competitions.So far,everything has been great and I'm getting full support from everybody.Just want to thank everyone who has been part of this and I hope that everything will continue to go well.We are now joining the Penang League and will be playing starting on the 4th March.I am really excited for it as we have been training since the past month for it.I believe that we will make an impact in this league!

Today has been a great day.I finally became referee for an offical match tonight and I can't wait for the next time I'm becoming referee again.It's a totally different point of view and I understand the game much more better now.It has been a long and tiring day.It's time to rest now and save my energy to study for my Chemistry test.Thank God for everything that He have done for me in the past month!=)
